DATE -TIME RESET??

What seems to be the problem with the date and time?

If you want to change the date and time settings, then you can click on the time on the bottom right corner of your screen. There you can change the time and date settings.
Or if date and time are always changing whatever you do then you would need to change the CMOS battery of your computer.

After battery change on my 2001 avalon the time/date reset to default even I set the time/date correctly then turn off the ignition and turn back on again then the time/date reset to default again .

If some connections were changed then the ALWAYS ON +12 volt to the clock circuit back up is not powered all the time . check if while the battery was changed if there was any link that was disconnected that is the continuous supply to the clock.

Camera resets DATE and Time to Jan 2002 when

Some of these cameras cannot save the date, and has no internal battery to save the data. The best solution I have use is to buy another battery with these kinds of cameras and always have one charging, or take two batteries when you take pictures.
These older point and shoot cameras are nice, and slower than the newer ones, but will not save the data unless you keep the main battery in it, or replace the one to be charged with another battery within a very short time.

Batterie

Your internal CMOS battery(button battery) needs to be replaced. That keeps your date & time always working. Therefore when your main Battery runs out and external power is not present the date and time goes back to the date of manufacture.....sodeep

Date and time wrong on the journal

to reset the time and date on the machine you need to hit

Time/date
Function-7-1-start- then adjust the time and date and hit start then stop

Com journal after every fax
Function7-4-start-1-2-start-2"should says always" then start stop

receive time print." puts the time and date of your machine of the fax..example if your receiving a fax from new york and your in california it will put your time and date at the bottom.

as for why your losing your time and date all the time is because the battery if dead on the machine.

Clock always reset to default upon power up

Either the replacement battery was dead or the camera needs to be serviced. If the date/time needs to be reset every time the camera powers up, the camera is not receiving the power it needs from the date battery.
