If it turns over it is not the starter motor. Try dumping a little bit of fuel into the carb, check the air filter, if you can also try to tow it behind something and put it in gear. It also may be flooded. let it stand for a bit and retry. double check all electrical and vacuum hoses.

Turns over but dose not start, spark plug sparking ok

Check you have petrol if the bike has not been run for sometime replace the fuel. Petrol ages and causes all manner of problems.
Are you trying to start the bike but it has gone onto reserve, move the fuel tap to the reserve position then try to start it. If the above fails, then try these:-
Is the spark plug wet when removed. If dry it sounds like the petrol is not getting through. Try opening the filler cap and leave it open, make sure the kill switch is in the run position. Try starting with the throttle full open. Does the bike have a manual choke try to start with the throttle shut, choke off, then full on, then while continuing to turn over move the choke lever in stages from fully on to fully off. I find on my Yam TW125 (winter and bad weather hack) that if I have not used it for a while sharp twist the throttle a couple of times no more than a third of a turn. Hope this helps.

Apache quad 100cc Bike will not start, battery is ok, plenty of petrol in it but will not fire, can anyone help,

this typically comes down to basics. you engine needs air, fuel and spark to run. FUEL - pull the main fuel hose in to the carb from gas tank and turn on to be sure fuel is getting to the carb. SPARK - next pull out spark plug and while still connected to igntion cap, touch end of plug to motor and turn over engine. if you do not see spark, this is your issue and is usually the most common issue. if spark is present, spray starting fluid into the spark plug hole, reinstall plug and try to start, if it trys to start as in starts then dies, your not getting fuel past or from your carb. Clean carb. AIR - last but not least check your air filter and insure it is not clogged or obstructed and is allowing air to the engine. As for no spark, the can be many issues from a bad CDI ignition coil or generator/stator to just a bad kill switch or cut/unplugged wire.

Hi,i own a dinli t-rex dl-601 100cc atv quad bike and i recently changed the v-belt,cleaned the carb, wahed filters, drained and changed engine oil, drained and changed petrol, drained and changed 2 stroke,...

I think you might want to change catagories, I found this under Bicycles. Also, I was curious as to how you can list it as a Quad Bike . . . Bike is a short term for Bicycle, Bi meaning 2 as in 2 wheels.

Hi My motorcycle Hero Honda Dawn had problem at the time of starting a journey. The bike showing some Power missing alternatively . But it will solve after 10 minutes of ride, What is the problem Is it...

possible weak battery? its better after a run... when it's charged a bit off the alternator. it's possibly not holding the charge overnight and being a bit sluggish in the morning... have it checked - a half charged battery makes a half charged coil... zap? . which will spark but not quite so good as a fully charged coil ZAP!
also check the plug for oil fouling and check if the oil level is too high - if so drain the oil down to the Full mark - this can happen after a lot of failed starting attempts as unburned petrol gets past the cylinder into the sump, filling it up... If THIS has happened you need to change the oil and filter, oil full of petrol does not lubricate the engine!!! - I think its 10W30 for your bike, it takes about 2 pints.
Sounds like its almost definitely electrical tho...

Quad bike wont start, just turns over

To check the spark put the spark plug in the cap and rest the tip of the spark plug on the head of the engine and crank it over. You should see a strong spark.
(Remember doing this creates electricity so don't touch the tip)

Quad bike tries to start but doesn't, looked at the spark plug and there is no spark. Any idea's

check your ht lead make sure good connection.check magneto.if magneto looks soiled clean the outer surface.you will see a terminal top left side.remove this(2 retainer screws) and give it a good clean(clean cloth soaked in petrol)use a wire brush on magneto and finnish off with soaked cloth.replace everthing and start it up.theres only a number of things that can go wrong to fire.
plug....dirty,set wrong, oiled up or faulty.ht lead....become loose or worn.magneto....residue,rust,dirt due to being left outside for long periods.
