It sounds like it's time for a new laptop. The sheer cost of fixing all of the problems you have are worth more than your laptop.

Hi, I have a toshiba A300-035 psagoc-03501c I own it since 2 years. I was doing normal work, when it suddenly started to smell kind of burn smell. And a blue screen appeared and nothing. Now, i...

Hi there! Normally, in this case, since the laptop just had a burning/burnt smell, it does suggest that something has been burnt inside it. It could be the motherboard itself or the processor.

If this laptop is still under warranty, you can try calling Toshiba Support line to have it taken care of. Normally, it will require for you to ship it over to their Depot, and from there they will be able to know which part/parts are bad and have it replaced.

Although, if this is NOT under warranty anymore, you will need to pay for the said hardware replacement.

Whichever way, I would strongly recommend for you to contact Toshiba so that they can give you options on how to fix your laptop.

It may be coincidence but I presume you get the Bios menu as the laptop is loading asking you for either F2 or F12 if you wish to change your boot option. If not, plug your laptop into an external screen to check for a VGA processor errors.
I suspect the lamp driver ballast unit may have failed.
Feel free to get back to me with anymore data.

I have a toshiba satelitte A300, its about a year old and the wireless internet just cut out one day and now it wont find any networks even though other people in my house can use their wireless fine

Make sure the wireless hard switch on the front of the laptop is switched over to on.
Next if still no wireless try doing a system restore back to date when the wireless was working.
If still no joy then most likely there is a hardware issue either with the controller on the mainboard or the wireless card itself.

Rear projection

This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!

Power on password for toshiba satellite m30-107

You can by shorting the CMOS/BIOS battery connector for 30 sec's with a resister pack (2.4 KOhms), but if you don't have any PC repair experience, don't try it!

"You can blow the motherboard if you get it wrong.."

I suggest you take it to a Toshiba repair shop, it will cost about $100 to have them do it for you.

Lost Recovery CD's

You can request the cd's from Toshiba, although they will charge, the pics etc will be lost unless they can be retrieved by the warranty company, although they will also charge for that.
