Often during cleaning, using liquid detergent but carefully so, the sparks on one or several zones wants to ignite, this can last hours, with or with out tge gaz switched on. Logically certain liquid drain causes this. How can this problem be avoided? Cleaning advice?
Tips for a great answer:
The electrical wiring under the burners has been short
probably from liquids leaks during cooking.
That is why you had the spark. The only electrical part you
have to your coo top is the electric ignite nothing else. So you should remove
all burners' assemblies from the top so to reach the bottom part where the gas
pipes are located and the ignite part no 318 in drawing Spark module
AP3778816made by GE.
So first you can use a hair
dryer do try it out and be sure there is not and liquid in it and put
electrical plug again to test it. If you still have the same problem, replace
the Spark module with a new one.
