The first thing I would try is pressing CTRL+Shift+Del and choosing to delete ALL of your cache and cookies. WARNING: Doing this will log you out of all of the websites you're currently logged into.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

When i need to access my facebook account auto redirection to this link https://www.facebook.com/advertising/

Hi, If you are being redirected to a page you're not suppose to be in. you need to try to reset the browser to default setting again. Open tools in Internet explorer > then go to internet options > then go to advanced tab > then click on the reset button. you can now try to log on to facebook again after the reset.
Thank you for using Fixya, your recommendation is highly appreciated for the free support.

When trying to login to facebook, after entering my user ID and password and clicking log in, it redirects me to another login page instead of logging me in. I am running IE 9 with Nortons 360

Sounds like you are being directed to a Phishing site due to a virus or malware; do a virus/malware scan on your PC. Also, try going to https://www.facebook.com, which is the secure version; and shouldn't allow a redirect if you do not have malware.

How can i get facebook back on my lap top?.. it some how got deleted from our system and now when i go to the site it redirects and says it cant be found?..

Facebook is webpage and can be accessed at any time, you might not have deleted facebook.

Redirection looks browser cache issue. Try following to clear browser cache
On IE7, try opening internet explorer, go to tools, click on options, on Browser History click on "Delete", and select all options, and click delete

Not sure of your browser link has cleanup method for all types of browser

Also, try going to, this is same link which will take you to facebook.

Hope this helps

When I am trying to get onto facebook my page comes up for a second and then I get a message that they are going to return me to facebook, but then I get a message we are unable to return you to...

This is most probably a problem involving redirects.
The solution is to reset the redirect option from your browser (i.e. how many redirects you allow).
Another possible cause can be that you have Javascript disabled in your browser.
Hope this helps, wbwteam

Continually redirecting farmville

I don't think it is a browser problem.

This may sound scary but do the following
- go to http://www.facebook.com/editapps.php

- click on the X next to farmville

- application removed, click OK

- go to farmville application again, it will ask for access again, click allow

- You will be back to your farm as you left it and no redirecting problems.....

Www.facebook.com redirects to Microsoft Site

That is the default site for facebook. Facebook automatically redirects you to that directory of their site.
