What make and model camera?
Not all USB ports put out enough current to charge a battery. If you're connecting through a hub, try bypassing it and connecting directly. If you have another USB port, try that.

Power Cable Popping Out on Versus Chinese Tablet

Versus Tablets (sold mostly in the UK and Ireland until 2014) have some great features (like HDMI out and Bluetooth), but power is a problem. They do not charge through the USB port, but through a 3.5mm barrel jack plug (specs are 5v 2000mA).
The power cable on my Versus Android Tablet keeps popping out (and therefore the tablet won't charge). Lately it got so bad that the plug simply wouldn't go in at all. I did a bit of research and came up with a fix.
There's a small plastic ring at the top of the plug. Take a precision pliers and pull the ring off the plug. BE CAREFUL! - If you damage the plug it simply won't go in at all, and your tablet will be useless.
Without this ring the plug stays in and the tablet charges. It still pops out occasionally, but a lot less than it did before.

NB: I do see some replacement power adapters with these plugs available on eBay and Amazon, so you may be able to try out a replacement power supply too.

<p>If your iPod and it gets low on battery, you can continue to enjoy your music while charging your iPod. To charge your iPod, you can choose from one of two ways: Use a computer to add power to your iPod, or use an electrical outlet to charge the device. Nikon s6300 won't turn on

Coolpix Cameras are tricky to use with chargers. I will assume your USB Charger EH-69P is 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz so it CAN work in many places around the world with an adapter. Do not go over 240V or you could damage it.

These cameras like to have the power supply connected when it is on to charge - meaning if you have it connected and you plug the charger in the wall it will NOT charge. So if you plug the charger in the wall first and then plug the cable in the camera it will work. The camera is actually ON when it charges and I never REMOVE the memory card when it is ON.

When you have a dead battery. Plug the camera in and make sure the ON LED lights and the Charge LED flashes. Then don't mess with it. Let it charge completely (Charge LED stops flashing and is OFF) and then unplug it. It will turn off. Then later you can turn it on.

Need to clear space on sd card

The simplest method would be to connect your phone to your PC with your USB cable and mount the SD card on the PC. Plug the phone into the PC and pull down the menu bar on the phone. Tap where it says "USB connected - Select to copy files to/from your computer." The phone should pop up on your computer as a hard drive, and you can back up files and delete them from there.
If you don't have a cable to connect your phone to your PC, you can download a file manager app from the Android Market. I use AndroZip, but there are others like ASTRO File Manager or ES File Explorer. You can use a file manager app to browse the files on your SD card and delete them that way.
