I have a NNSD297 Panasonic over the range microwave oven. First the unit had power, clock , timer, fan was working; except after hit the start button, maybe 2 secs looked like working then stops operating....

Make sure that the program controller is working if not check power - step down supply, the pads are responding- if not faulty pads- or the door switches, if the switch contact are not good then it will not trigger the processor to switch on the waveguides. If the lights or fan work without any display or action of program being triggered to start then it can be a possible fault on the main board or the processor. Sometimes insect secretion can short the board and display panel and so the processor can work in such an erratic manner. If so clean, solder and reset the board. Now identify the parts by clicking this link: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/microwave/a/5/141/identifying-microwave-parts.html

If there is no heating please do not switch on unless you have confirmed the fault. It is possible that the Magnetron is faulty, the temperature cut off is faulty or the main capacitor is short. It is also quite possible that insect can get into the oven and create soft spots. When you switch on these will create a short and make the voltage jump and in the long run damage the magnetron. My microwave won't heat anything up. The light comes on, the plate turns round and it makes all the right noises but it doesn't heat anything up.

Since the light and fan work the main board or the processor is working .Now identify the parts by clicking this link: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/microwave/a/5/141/identifying-microwave-parts.html

As there is no heating please do not switch on unless you have confirmed the fault. It is possible that the Magnetron is faulty, the temperature cut off is faulty or the main capacitor is short. It is also quite possible that insect can get into the oven and create soft spots. When you switch on these will create a short and make the voltage jump and in the long run damage the magnetron.
So Remove cover after disconnecting , check for dirt/moisture in the cabin, if so wipe clean and dry, check the magnetron and area clean and use an jet air to clean off. Check the wave guide covers, if food had deposited
then it must be checked or replaced.

See link: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/microwave/a/5/1146/how-to-replace-a-microwave-guide-cover.html

Now keeping clear of the microwave, switch on, use a cup of water inside to test.
If you notice any sparks shut off as the magnetron or the main HT capacitor can be faulty. replace with same type.
If there is heating without any issues, you can use the microwave safely

Krups XP7200: when I turn it on, after a few seconds all LED flash and error code 3 is displayed. Nothing can be done

The fault can be related to the program controller, so check power - step down supply, the pads are responding- if not faulty pads- or the door switches, if the switch contact are not good then it will not trigger the processor to switch on the waveguides. If the lights or fan work without any display or action of program being triggered to start then it can be a possible fault on the main board or the processor. The codes represent there is an error and as there is no heating please do not switch on unless you have confirmed the fault. It is possible that the Magnetron is faulty, the temperature cut off is faulty or the main capacitor is short. It is also quite possible that insect can get into the oven and create soft spots. When you switch on these will create a short and make the voltage jump and in the long run damage the magnetron.

If you notice any sparks shut off as the magnetron or the main HT capacitor can be faulty. replace with same type. In this case it seems that the program controller board has errors specially if the oven heats and shuts off. remove the board, clean and reset.

Hello, I have a problem with my microwave type Sanyo em c-2000 Sometimes the microwave doesn't react after I press the start button. After the beep there's the following code in the screen:...

The error described can be fault in any of these.
So Remove cover after disconnecting , check for dirt/moisture in the cabin, if so wipe clean and dry, check the magnetron and area clean and use an jet air to clean off.
Now keeping clear of the microwave, switch on, use a cup of water inside to test.

Light does not come on, first switch on of appliance and light does not work

If there is no action please do not switch on unless you have confirmed the fault. The door switch can be faulty and unless it contacts the light wont come on.

If microwave is not working check this out: It is possible that the Magnetron is faulty, the temperature cut off is faulty or the main capacitor is short. It is also quite possible that insect can get into the oven and create soft spots. When you switch on these will create a short and make the voltage jump and in the long run damage the magnetron.

Make sure that the program controller is working if not check power - step dwon suppy, the pads are responding- if not fauty pads- or the door switches ,if contact is not through the microwave will not work.

Now keeping clear of the microwave, switch on , use a cup of water inside to test.
If you notice any sparks shut off as the magnetron or the main HT capacitor can be faulty. replace with same type.

My aquagard is probling from 2 months the red light is blink when we start aqua iam tired to complaining many times to service centre from where i did emi

The red light comes on due to a failure to detect the right intensity of light into the controller board. The LDR- light dependentt resistor - is fixed on to the cylinder which has the UV light. Hence the unit is clogged and the light intensity has dropped. You will need to open , clean and reset for the fault to go .Please take the top cover, the glass tubings and the UV lamp out very carefully not to damage.
If the fault is still persisting then the main board is faulty, sometimes the driver transistors are defective and will not output the voltage to the lamps. Please check this out and I am sure it will work. The service centres normally replace boards even if a transistor is faulty.... so your are right.
I hope my advice helps.
