I have a whirlpool quiet partner 2. It seems the whole washer is draining out of the air gap. This has never happened before and as you can imagine, makes a huge mess. The washer fills normally and runs normally, but is draining out the air gap an d all over the floor. Help!

Your air gap connect to the garbage disposal. The hose that makes that connection may be cloged. It is also possible the the plug that is in the disposal was not knock out. Check for a hole inside disposal were the air gap connects. If the plug was not removed. Unplug disposal. Then pull hose off and knock it out from the out side in with a screwdriver. Do not leave that plug in the disposal. Make sure the hose is not kinked when you reconnect it.

Dishwasher Whirlpool quiet partner 2 will not drain

Check your drainage hose going to the kitchen sink. It should be routed up to an air gap on kitchen sink, or ran to the highest point as possible under the kitchen sink counter and then slope down into the disposer or branch wye tailpiece on your drainage piping depending on what your drainage configuration is. Not going up to the highest point, or an air gap, before draining into your drainage piping allows the water inside the dishwasher hose to drain back into the unit.

It sounds like you've done a lot to try and fix your dishwasher. Make sure your air gap is not plugged up and double check the drain hose. If those are clear change out your drain hose. Part#8270145 the elbow connector sometimes have a bad check valve and could keep it from draining.
Hope that helps Thanks please rate me
