- Go to control panel in My Computer, then go to Sounds and Audio Devices. - Go to the tab labeled audio and where it says sound playback click volume and make sure you volume control is not muted. If it still doesn't play music make sure the plug from your speakers is plugged into the green plug in the back of your computer - Make sure also to plug it from an outlet if it uses electricity
If the above troubleshooting still didn't work, go to Control Panel, then System, find Device Manager. Click the Sound, video and game controller, then right-click the soundcard installed then click Properties. Check for the device status if it is working properly, otherwise if other message status is there, try to find a new driver on the net.

How can i get sound on my computer

This can have several fix scenarios. Go to Control Panel/Sounds & Audio Devices and check to see if the "Mute" is not checked. Or, double click your "Vol" icon in your taskbar to bring up your Volume Controller Panel. Check to see if your Volume is not muted on the source of your audio. If you have a Desktop PC, check to see if your external speaker system is plugged into the proper audio speaker jack at the rear of the Mother board or at the rear of your sound card. This is generally the green jack. Hope this helps.
