My new TomTom volumn is too low. How do I adjust it?


The menu button has combo list of all functionality to device.

The procedures of manupulating the device functionality includes;
1. a touch screen button indicating menu would display a list with which to reset system functions; an example of adjustable features include brighteness, contrast, color and volume.
2. a device functionalities are acquired on the menu button, though could include sub menu buttons with lists manipulatable.
3. Locate the volume button after pressing menu, submenu, while perusing th e function options until volume is diplayed.
4. A volume display indication for touch screen devices observable as a long stretch bar with manipulation features describable.
5.A volume display on the tom tom gps could be situated on either vertically or horizontally.
6. A volume bar is manipulate by pressing directly on to the device area of the bar observed and attempting to drag an indication arrow from a graded direction. For example, lowering the volume requires pressign and moving the arrow towards the numerical grades of fewer numbers.

Note: your situation of requirign volumn increase is achived by dragging the arrows towards the numerical grades of higer numnbers to make possible more directional audibility.

For technical assistance, refer to the user guide on how to maniplate volume functionities.

Is there any way of increasing the volume? I can't use the handsfree because it's not loud enough - I can't hear them and they can't hear me


Press HandsFree once, and then press DELETE (several times to scroll through loudness levels from 1 to 4. Then, press Handsfree to confirm setting. Press DELETE to exit & view normal screen.

Very low volume on 'handsfree' option; whereas the vol. for the line button can be quite loud


Hi.

The Volume function of that phone is controlled by the up down vol button on the phone. the only time it does anything is when that function is being used. ie. when you have the handset in hand the vol buttons control the handset volume, while the phone is ringing the buttons control the ringer volume etc.

Bluetooth Handsfree headset not clear.


You can tweak the bluetooth to give best results from the bluetooth option. But by doing this your battery charge will fireup very fast... :-)

Volume on the phone/speaker/ring is very low


You can change ring tones by pressing the flash button until you get the ring you want. When you get the ring you want press the set button.

Can you update the firmware on your unit
my k800i sony phone had a problem synchronising and would freeze, then one day the nuvi 660 updated the firmware by itself and has been fine since, only problem being the volume, a bit low when trying to contest with large diesel engine, onboard speaker keen to distort over 80% volume

LG TU550 phone handsfree volume


VERY poor reception and battery goes flat in about 10 hours as looking for a signal. My wifes Nokia lasts a LOT longer and has much better reception
