SOURCE: platinum B70 keurig coffee maker water heats up

1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

5. Power on machine.

6. Brew a cup of water only. There may be coffee grounds in the water and these should eventually clear during the remaining steps. NOTE: A large cup brew cycle should output a full 8 ounces (235cc). Less means there is still a blockage

Recently mu Keurig started acting funny. When I first turn it on, instead of heating up, it just starts to fill my cup. Can't seem to get the "menu" up either! HELP

I watched a U Tube video, a 10 year explained how to clean the Keurig so it would work. Now all you have to do is go to Bed Bath & Beyond. Buy Clean Cup. It cost $7.99 It is a K-Cup put the pod in your Keurig run twice. Take the Clean Cup pod out, run twice with just water. Take a new thin paper clean to clean your needle.
When you close the lid so you make coffee. Surprise Open the top their is needle that becomes impacted with coffee grounds. Throw away the paper clip run a cup water and look at all the mess come out.

What do I do when my keurig is set on 8 ounce and it keeps brewing

This is going to sound a little funny. Try descaling it. Mine runs excessive water when it needs to be descaled and we live in an area with rather mineral heavy water

No suction

Run vinegar through it.

Sometimes they have a temp sensor in them which won't allow them to function again until they've cooled off. So try really cold water.

It won't brew and I am not sure on the menu screen

Hello Sewaters,

You should reset the coffee maker and make sure it's properly primed, as it's possible that the unit needs to be primed. Typically, the machine's malfunction when they lose their prime, as the water runs low, etc.

Here's the Quick Start Guide and Owners manual for your B60 Special Edition coffee maker.
