Welcome to Fixya

Replacing the toner bottle is pretty much common for all copiers. Here's my experience when i replaced mine. Please see procedure below:

1. Twist or unlock the empty toner bottle in the machine. The empty toner bottle will be held in place by some method in the copier. Usually there is a tab that locks the toner into place, while some toner bottles require you to twist or turn the toner bottle to remove it. The empty toner bottle can either be recycled or thrown out.

2. Prepare the new toner bottle. You may need to remove protective tape or tabs before you can install the new toner bottle. Make sure you fully prepare the new toner before attempting to install it.

3. Install the new toner bottle and secure it into place. Toner bottles usually slide into place and are then secured by the same method as described in step 1. Yours may have a securing tab or may need to be twisted so that it is locked and secured into the copier.

4. Clean up any spilled toner. As careful as you may be, spilling toner is a common event. Toner is hard to clean up and can ruin clothes, carpeting and make your copier look dirty. Using a slightly damp cloth will make cleaning up any spilled toner relatively easy. If there is a large amount of spilled toner, use a small vacuum cleaner.

Thank you for using Fixya!

How do i get rid of the call service message

pull the toner and developericon1.png (they come out as one unit unless you delibrately seperate them) out of the top of the printer. Open the side door on the print and remove the waste toner bottle. You'll see a gray button above where the bottle was. Push the button and pull the drum out about a half and inch. Push back in firmly until it clicks. Reinstall bottle and reinstall toner and developer. Should work from there, but you may have to power off, then power on.

After empying the waste toner bottle, the same waste toner bottle error still reigns on the copier screen.

The copier uses a photo sensor to determine when to replace the bottle. If the inside of the bottle is covered with toner, it thinks the bottle is still full. There should be a projection on the back of the bottle that fits into the sensor. You can try to clean the inside of the projection, but don't use any kind of liquid, use a dry cloth. You may have to buy another bottle. New ones should come with the toner. dood luck.

How to put in the Toner

I would try this first... Leave the toner bottle out and close the toner door & let the copier come to ready. Then the toner bottle holder should be in home postion and it should be easier to install a new toner... Good Luck

Waste toner container replacement

Yes you can. But there is a window at the top of the bottle . There is a sensor that looks through that window to sense toner in it. It is a small area about a half inch high and quarter inch wide that bulged out of the top of the bottle.
Poke a hole in it, clean it with a q tip and reseal the opening you make .
That should do it.

I need to change the toner to my canon super g-3 copier, How do I remove the old one?

Have you adde the new toner in to the copier and can noy get the spent toner bottle OFF, right? Once you have locked the toner bottle in, you have to pull the Blue lever on the right bottom side of the toner bottle. That is pulled to the right to allow the toner to feed into the hopper. Once the toner is empited from the bottle, you have to push the Blue lever back to the left and push a little harder when it stops. This will release the two claws that hold the bottle locked in. You should be able to tilt the toner bottle up and to the left and then slide the toner bottle to the right and remove the toner bottle. If you can not get the toner bottle off, leave it till a service person comes or somebody else, don't force it, IT WILL MAKE A VERY, VERY, VERY BIG MESS...... The copier will work with it attached. Good Luck... I wouldn't ware white.....

I replaced the toner in the Toshiba 3560 copier and after replacing the toner the machine still says to add toner. Any suggestions?

You may have a clog going into the developer. If you can get the developer out you can then vacuum it out.

Our Panasonic DP-4510 says "Replace the Toner Waste Container." However, we cannot find where to do that -- and the machine's manual makes no mention of it!

If the front panel is rear side of uou. Then Right_bottom side serfface have the waste bottol; if you open the flexiable cover. You found a plastic bottol, no electronics attech with it. You pulled it out; empty it out side the room/office. Then fix it back their location. Maight be some model have counter inside softwere. in that case reset the counter by softwere.
