Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook

My Netbook start but when the windows logo appears this come to freeze and I can't do nothing else. can you helpme what is the problem

    I have nothing plugged, I did Acer Recovery Management completely restore but it can't finish because when is ready and have to start is the same problem.

First make sure that you have nothing plugged into your netbook like printer,camcoder,ipod, external hard drive. If you have any USB device plugged in to your netbook then unplug it and now try to boot your netbook.

if this does solve the issue. You can try step 2.

Step 2. Accer Factory restore.

Step 2 is only recommended if you do not have any important file or data or software in your computer. If you are ready loose your data then you can perform step 2.

All that you need to do is push the power button and as soon as you see your accer manufacturer logo start tapping on Alt+F10 and could stop tapping when you get the screen that says Windwos Loading Files after which you might get something that says Edit boot options then you need to hit the enter key.This would bring the Acer Recovery Management where you need to select completely restore system to factory settings and follow the on screen instructions selecting Yes/OK/Next and the process would complete in 30-45 minutes.

    I don't have your email address so i am sending you this comment if you can read it.
    As you mentioned that after recovery even it still freezing window log and same problem came back which you had in your pc. It looks like me to be a hardware issue. I will recomment that you need to run Accer hardware diagnostic but accer does not have inbuilt hardware diagnostic so here is the no. of accert tech support and you an ask them to ran hardware diagnostic in your laptop and they can do that.

    Moreover if your netbook is under warranty like less then a 1 year then your hardware parts will be replaced free of cost or your netbook would be repaired free of cost.

    How to reach a live person:
    Speak "Customer Support"
    Speak "Agent"
    When asked for the SNID (serial number) look on the botom of your product or near a bar-code. It is eleven digits long. If you don't have it just mumble around and you will eventually be transfered to a rep.

When i boot the laptop it freeze at the windows logo, i can't restore to, when i do that it will freese allso and when i boot from usb it will allso freese. Please help


Which operating you are using??

Try to restart your laptop in safe mode.(press F8 key repeatedly when you start your laptop ->select safe mode option)

Or You can try this steps also::: press shift key until the windows logo appear on the screen.

My acer netbook turns on and after the windows logo appears does not load



Once you turn on the pc tap on F8 for the advance boot option to appear.
Try to check if you can load even on safemode.
Once on safemode do a system restore.
Start;All programs;accessories;system tools;system restore

If in case you still it wont load you have to contact Microsoft support.

Nothing on the system at all no file no nothing it just powers on and of no icons no files nothing is theres a way i can install the os as default


Upon starting up the computer press the F8 key when the Sylvania LOGO appears. You will sell a black and white screen displaying assorted start up menues. Choose the Safe Mode first and see what happens

If your computer is still within warranty, you have an option to request for a recovery cd from Asus which you can use to reinstall your OS. The only thing is, if you use the cd it will wipe out everything on your computer as it will do a clean installation of your OS. Just make sure you have a back up of your files before you use the recovery cd

Mini notebook 7'' freezes on startup and says loading OS image


You will need to download one or the other

Please do as follows:

1.Extract files to your hard drive and only copy the script folder to a SD card, not the (VT8505 or VT8500 folder).
2. Turn off your netbook,
3. Insert the SD card to your netbook.
4. Turn on your netbook. Then the software will setup to your netbook Automatically.
5. After completed setup. It will show a windows screen calling for your to turn off the netbook.
6. Pull the SD card out off the netbook.
7. Then turn on the netbook and all should work fine
