Question about Motorola Cell Phones
Most of the phones I looked at with this symptom had liquid damage. The metals corrode and cause resistance in the circuits. The radio transceiver uses the most power when making or receiving calls. The charging problem can also be corrosion. I would make a backup of your contacts right away. Then you may be able to have a technician open the unit to inspect and repair (if not DBR).
