Where is the door lock relay

Not all power locks use relays. We oldschool techs classified them as 3 wire or 5wire, on gm vech. If you get to the back of the switch, a 3wire should have 3wires, if you unplug the switch, the passenger switch will work. On a 5wire, you will have a blue, black, orange, light blue, on the driver switch, its in series with the pass. switch, if either is unpluged the locks wont work. If you have a three wire, gm uses 2bosch style relays they will be attached together. On camaros they are usually on the inside firewall, usually on the pass. Side. If you have someone work your switch you will hear them click. Happy hunting.

My GE Dryer Model #DJXR433EG1WW will not turn on. It will not turn on and the dials don't turn right.

It sounds like your door switch is not closed. This switch has to be closed in order for power to be available at the start button. Open your door and manually push the button in and then carefully push your start button provided you have turned the timer on. If you are handy you can by pass and jumper out the door switch. The other possibility is if you can hear the motor quietly start when you push the start button your belt may have come off the pulley and the motor is just spinning.

Hotpoint wmf740

when the door closes, it latches to a micro switch, remove the panel at the top of unit usually only 2 to 4 screws. make sure you unplug the unit, look from the top were the latch lock is located, see if the micro switch is out of place, it has a small button on the switch that gets pushed when you close the door, you may be avail to move , adjust or bent the mechanism to make it work, if not , 2 thing you can do, replace it, it is only 2 screws or by pass the switch, no recommended. but it works. to by pass the switch, connect both terminal wires toghether and tape them for safety or short. unit works, that is your problem. good luck.

It says "close door or

There is a switch inside the front door (cartridge door) on the left side, you can see it in a little hole in the black plastic. Inside you can see the metal part of the switch. If you press it you can ear the "click" of the switch. This switch must be pressed to clear the message " close door". Probably it's only out of regolation, you can by-pass it if you insert a small piece of paper inside the hole to close the switch.

AEG washing machine error code e40

E40 relates to the door being left open when the programme is started, it maybe that the latch was not pushed over when the door was shut. After the door is closed again the fault should go away. If it does not and you hear alot of clicking from the door lock you may just have a door lock at fault.Code E40 is door not closed, could be a mis-aligned door or faulty door switch.-------------But if door is closing properly and you are confirmed that door is getting properly locked, then other possibility can be gunked filter or blocked drain pump.It requires cleaning internally. The procedure is as follows:--- Towards the bottom right of the machine is a pull-down flap.
Drain the machine - there's a tube at the bottom of the machine
with a plastic plug - you'll see a butterfly handle, pull hard; the plug
is a round ball on the end of a stick.
Unscrew the large diameter thing (pump cover) -
Don't do this before the drain step!!!
Withdraw the filter cylinder and remove any gunge - the
filter port has two ports - the left one is the impellor
pump and the right one is the discharge pipe; feel to ensure
these are not gunged up either.
Reassemble in reverse order - as Haynes say.
Almost every programme necessitates a pump activation to
assure that the machine is empty of water .-----------

Push button to start but it does not turn on. only a small noise and then fails to start.

I would take off the back cover or open it up, close the door, then use insulated tool to make across wire terminals. Just tap across the wires if the drier starts its the switch. If not check the drier door switch to make sure it is passing power to the push button switch. Let me know and good luck

Is it possible to bypass a door ajar switch on a 1999 f150?

As in make the truck think the door is closed when it is open ?

If this is what you are looking for, adding a switch to the door latch is easy. The door switch is grounded when the door is open, and no ground when closed.

The door color codes from the switch to the GEM ( Generic Electronic Module / what takes in the warning about the door open ) behind the door panel :
Driver's : Black w/ Yellow Stripe wire
Pass : Black w/ Pink stripe wire.

Install a switch in the circuit above and when the door is open, flip the switch ( open the circuit ).
In the door, you will find this wire starting at the door latch, check for the wire routing. Most install the switch in the map pocket, so the wiring is easier to get to.
If you need door panel removal instructions, Muth Co ( makes the signal mirrors for the truck, aftermarket ) has some great door panel removal instructions. Go to the web site, and select the make & year of your truck, and on the products page they have a link to the install directions in PDF format.

My power window to my toyota tundra (2002)passenger window does not move up/down. Press switch, and no sound, no movement. what can I do to restore power?

try using the window switch on the pass side and drivers side. is the master turned on to allow the pass switch on? try closing the pass door while holding the switch in the DOWN position, sometimes this will jar the window loose. If you watch the dome light real closely while pushing the window switch down, it should dim slightly, it it does dim, then the switch is working.
