Hello

Have a look at your drain pipe make sure its 2 inches into the drain line of your house.

Also that the pipe is clear and not kincked.

If this is a high eff washer it may be time to do a deep cleaning.

Why do the stackable washers always overflow with water. Is it a sensor problem or what?

Overflowing can be caused by a faulty pressure switch or tube from switch to the tub. It is operated by air pressure from water filling in the tub. If this does not activate then the inlet valve will continue to allow water to enter the machine. If it is overflowing during spin only it is most likely something obstructing the pump. If it is filling the tub even when the machine is off the problem is the inlet valve.

My washing machine overflowed and would not drain. When it is on water keeps coming in even though the machine is full iof water but there is no movement of the agitator and I could not get it to...

H i there.....sounds like you've got either a failed water inlet valve....or a disconnected /ruptured capillary hose from the pressure switch to the tub....or a failed pressure switch........turn water to appliance off.....turn program selector to drain or drain /spin..is drain pump running...if not it may be blocked or burned out....or with machine empty of water.....turn program to spin....if no spin...check motor....

Washer Dryer flooding at spin cycle

Nicola...not sure what you mean by floods. If you mean that water is coming out of the top of the machine basket as a result of either overflow or splashing, each is different from water coming out of the drain hose.

Generally, washers which are spinning are also completing a rinse cycle...the program adds a bit of water to the spinning load to drive out the last of the detergent.

If you've got a problem in spin with flooding out of the top (basket full), this is probably a timer issue (or...less likely...a sticking water valve). If the problem is splashing, you should keep the cover closed for safety. If the drain hose is overflowing, the problem is lack of capacity to take the pumpout. Clean the drain.

Won't go into the final spin cycle and overflows

For Dinkysouth:
Apparently your machine is getting power to the water valves when it should be draining and then going into Spin. Also, since it keeps filling to the point where it overflows there must be a constant signal from the electronic board that bypasses the water level pressure switch. If you can, you should go into the Service Program and check the individual items. Most likely, you will end up needing a new board.
