I'm not sure what you are referring to by "error mode 44". I know Wurlitzer jukeboxes quite well and can help you troubleshoot over the phone. Please email tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

SOURCE: missing CD player of Wurlitzer CD Jukebox model New York,NY 1993

Hello,

All of the one more time jukeboxes used the Phillips CD player, they started with the CDM3 then the CDM4 and CDM12 etc.
Around 1993 it would have been the CDM3/4.
You need to identify which Decoder it is using in the jukebox or you need a kit that replaces the CD player and Decoder.

DOCTOR-FIXCAN MAKE A COPY FROM MY ORIGINAL. MOST LIKELY YOUR PROBLEM IS THE LIGHT THAT COUNTS AS EACH CD PASSES. LOOK BETWEEN CD CAROUSEL, AND CD GRIPPER ARM. A CD MAY HAVE HIT THE METAL LEAVER THAT THE LAMP,
IS ATTACHED TO. YOU HAVE TO GET DOWN 0N IT WITH A MIRROR TO SEE THE LAMP, AND SEE IF THE METAL LEAVER IS NOT BENT. FOR COPY OF WURLITZER MANUAL, A CD RECORD PROBABLY HIT THE LAMP. 636 2273300. This is a laser unit fault or the pcb under the laser unit. Both are expensive.

If it uses a K99 amp you can buy an iPod docking bay as a kit to fit to the juke. If it is a Compact I84 amp you can't.

For full initialization, in service mode, press 3 to enter init. sub menu, type 0 for full initialization. Press popular, then put switch in normal position and initialization will begin. You can still select and play discs while initialization is in progress, providing you select from cd's already finished. The machine will continue initialization after selections are finished playing.

I purchased a used Wurlitzer 1015, question When selecting number 51 is a code number 82 and does not play can you explain me this, what the problem is thanks

The number of Cds in the carousel can be set on the Credit unit to stop it playing fresh air if for example you only have 50 Cds and not a whole 100. Sounds like yours is set to 50 so won't play anything over 50.
I 'think' this is what you do.
On the computer credit unit...
Service Switch ON...Press LT button.
Press 5 on the keyboard once.
Enter 0000
Service Switch off.
Press LT or turn machine off/on.

Model- 1015CD Wurlitzer "One more

It sounds like a communication problem between the Selection & Credit Computer (SCC) and the CD Control unit, or perhaps a defective player (SCC is telling it to play, but it can't). There are different troubleshooting procedures, depending on which player version you have. Please email me and I'll give you a phone number where you can call me for further help

I have a Wurlitzer Jukebox 1015 OMT, and when it's not playing, the LED display shows 0005. It used to show 0000. Is this an error code?

This is not a problem....When the machine is idle, it displays the most popular selection, or as the Germans call it, the "hit of the house". I doubt it ever showed "0000", except when it was first turned on and then only for a few seconds. As you make more selections, this "most popular selection" is automatically updated. You can clear the Selection & Credit Computer (SCC) and then it will show "0101" until it recognizes a new "most popular selection". Your manual should tell you how to clear the SCC. Let me know if you need anything else, tech@wurlitzer-ohio.com.

CD palyer will not play all Songs

It sounds like the CD has to be initialized, so the jukebox knows how many songs are on the specific CD.

To initialize a CD, go into service mode, input code 31, then index the cd number (two digits), then hit "popular". return the jukebox to play mode.
The carousel should scan and load the CD you initialized, and then return it to it's slot.

It should now be able to play any song on the CD you select.

Song Programming

Hello,

With regards to your problem with the Rowe Ami 100 cd jukebox.
Do you have a manual, if not I suggest you buy a printer manual or one on CD and refer to the Programming and Installation section.

In order for the jukebox to know about the cd's that are installed in the jukebox it has to initialize all or the changed cd's that have been replaced within the jukebox.

Put the jukebox into the Service Mode (the service mode should appear on the display)
Type 3 to select the Initialize sub menu
Type 0 and full initialize will appear on the display
Press Popular to start the initialization
Place the jukebox service switch into the normal mode

Initiazation will take around 30 minutes to complete.
