you can check a lot of sites where you can view and check onthe step by step guides how to install or upgrade the memory of your ibook, check this links
just select the type of memory card that you are using and it will lead you to a page where you can download a pdf file of the instruction.

It sounds like the guy that put it in your ibook didn't do a good job. Might be loose and needs to be put in more securely.
The unit needs to be put in securely or when the disks spin, the whole unit will ****. That is where you can get your "skips".

the zune only works with the Zune sync software which i believe only runs on PCs. to my knowledge the zune doesn't work with iTunes. if it doesnt even work with a PC and zune software, then there's an issue with your motherboard. It sounds like your internal trackpad isn't working, and it is currently asking you to hook up a mouse, be it thru Bluetooth or USB - have you tried a USB mouse on it to see what happens?
