Question about LG Washing Machines
Bahama Blue front control panel AGL31533006 is over $100. Touch up paint should be available from LG, but servicer may have to call parts department directly for a part number. (I did to get some red)
Note: It is the consumer's responsiblity to provide someone to assist with removal of a stacked dryer if the washer needs service, or to pay servicer for a second trip and a second servicer if consumer is unable to provide an assistant to help remove the stacked dryer and replace it. Servicer should not have even attempted to remove stacked dryer by themselves, as personal injury and / or product damage could result.
I suggest you have the service provider order the correct touch up paint which you purchase from them. In the future, please make sure you always inform a service company if there is a dryer stacked on the washer ahead of the appointed service date, and if you are able to provide an assistant to help remove and replace said dryer, or if you need to have the service company bring along additional help. (at additional cost, of course)

Hello awpoole_1 - Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. Generally, qualified technicians often perform these complicated part replacements. Usually this type of information is not released to a consumer and very rare to find enough information to do it yourself. If I was in your position, I would personally recommend contacting a professional to accurately assist with the repairs or installation of the part.

Hello Shelly Bostic - If you are not mechanically inclined, then I personally recommend consulting a professional to assist with the repairs. There are also other factors that can cause the unit to not drain or spin. Is the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose or pump is clogged and needs cleaning. Otherwise, the unit may also possibly be experiencing an issue with the control board not communicating correctly, faulty pump, and timer or like you have stated a defective door lock assembly. If I was in your position, I will contact a certified technician to move forward accurately.
