Question about Nissin Speedlite Di622 TTL Flash for Canon

Open Question

Flashes for about 10 to 15 and stops. It looks like rechargeable batteries are not strong enough. I have a feeling its overheating or has something wrong which may be draining the batteries...... Sometimes makes a faint noise like electric sparks when switched on. You can only hear this if you place the flashgun close to your ear when you press the power button. Any idea?

My flash will not flash. I have put in new batteries. The units responds to TTL and menu commands and switches on perfectly. Even the pilot lamp goes to green, however the bounce flash and fill flash do...

Mine does the same after 10 or 15 flashes. It gives you the impression that its drained the batteries, but I doubt it. I have a feeling its some short-circuit or overheating.

I just put new batteries in my kodak easyshare c913 but will not turn on

Make sure you are using rechargable batteries. Normal batteries are not strong enough. Try using either rechargable Lithium Ion batteries, or rechargable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. These are much stronger and should give you a good battery life.
Let me know if this helps :)

If you are already using these, I suggest you take it back to where you bought it.

No matter how often I replace the batteries, the camera loses power and won't turn on or off.

Make sure you use rechargeable batteries, as normal ones aren't strong enough. Rechargable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries are recomended for cameras, as they are powerful.

no problem. your rechargable is not strong enough for this camera. i use rayovac rechargeable from wal-mart and the batteries have to charge for two full days and make sure the light on the charger is off before removing the batteries from the charger. then put them in the camera and it will work perfectly. your batteries aren't strong enough for the camera. go out and get some energizers made just for digitals. they last forever but, they'll do until you get your rayovac rechargeable recharged. and coming right out of the pack they are not charged give it 48 hours and they'll last weeks.
