Some foreign object such as a clip or piece of paper may have fallen into the printhead path.
Open the cover and look for it.
Or try turning of and unplug for 24 hours. If you have stored faxes in memory make sure to plug in and power on at the 23 hour mark.
If this does not work you will need an authorized serviced center
