No on the first question. As for the water issue, you might try taking the batteries out of the camera and leaving the cover off leave the camera in the sun for a few days, it may dry out, if it doesn't then you need a new camera

I accidently hit "format memory" on my camera and now it says there are no pictures on my memory card. I want the pictures back, but can't figure out how to get them put back on the memory card.

  1. Do not click any more pictures or else you cannot recover all the pictures.
  2. Now remove the memory card from your camera and Connect it with your PC using Card reader or anything.
  3. Now download a software called RECUVA from here "http://download.piriform.com/rcsetup138.exe" or click here to download
  4. In recuva select "pictures" and click next button.
  5. Then select the "In specific location" an select the Drive of your memory card, click next and then click start.
  6. Now watch the magic, you can see all the pictures that you have formatted.
  7. Right click the pictures that you want to recover, press recover and select the location where you wana recover.
Hope this will help......cheers:)

Hit format by mistake All pictures (100) were lost can I get them back and how

If you had just hit "delete all", there is recovery software you could have used. Hitting "format" doesn't give you that option.

Deleting pics

Hi. I don't know if you accidentally changed something, but I would take all the pictures off. Download them to a pc then format the card. Then, reset the camera back to manufacturer specs. That would fix it.

Format of sd card on canon ixus 60 lost pictures

Try PC Inspector "Smart Recovery" from the following listing. Select "Intensive" mode from the File/Settings menu. The program may need to run all night in this mode. If this doesn't recover the photos, am afraid then that they're permanently gone.

Did you accidentally hit the lower left "Disp" button on the back of your camera? It manually turns the screen on or off to save batteries. Turn the camera on and press it once to check.

Picture focus problems

make sure there is no flower icon on bottom left corner of screen-very common on sony to hit macro button to turn on by accident and you will get blur-only for extreme closeup-hit flower button to turn off if on and let me know if that was the problem
