Hello there

From what you have said I can tell you that you have the NO VIDEO ERROR

The main causes are Hardware failure, overheating or wear & tear.

You may need to perform simple maintenance, clean or in some cases adjust settings.

To get the best advice on where to start I recommend a Xbox 360 Repair Guide, From this you can fix the problem at home and avoid any large repair bills. Its easier than it sounds when you have help from the guide.

The other solution would be to send the console off to Microsoft, This is free if your still in warranty. If your console is out of warranty then the usual price of repair is $100

Glad I could Help!

Good Luck & Best Regards

I know this might sound like annoying tech support but unplug your enthernet cord from your xbox and unplug your modem and router(if you have one) for about 5 minutes and plug everything back into everything..make sure your 360 is off.

It green screens after 10 mins

Hi,
Are you using hdmi cable. If so your hdtv needs to have it's hdmi port reset .First unplug everything even the TV and xbox. Then disconnect everything and unplug every thing from the wall outlets. Then plug the TV back in and hook everything back up. The HDTV even with the power off can have it's hdmi port bumped so you need to unplug it to reset the ports.
Thank you

When i turn my xbox on i get sound but no picture

this same problem happened to me. basically it is the same problem you would have if you got the red ring of death. its a hard drive failure. unfortunatly because it didnt trigger the red lights, microsoft dosent cover this on warranty. your best bet is to find someone locally who can possibly fix it or just get a new one. sorry to say but your xbox is dead

I just changed internet service and now I can't obtain an IP address for my X-BOX 360 online service

Unplug your modem, router, and XBOX. Then plug the modem in. After that is all the way up, plug your router in. After that's all the way up, turn your XBOX on. If that doesn't do the trick, you may have to reset your router to factory settings by holding the tiny pinhole button down for a few seconds. (usually located on the back of your router.) If THAT doesn't help, then go into your XBOX network configuration and make sure you have everything configured properly. But it sounds more like a router issue than anything else in my opinion.

Unplug the video cable from both the TV and the XBOX, then plug them back in. make sure you have the yellow video cable in the correct hole.
