If it is the handset speakerphone, this usually means the battery is dying. The speakerphone uses more power than the regular phone, so when you turn on the speakerphone with a weak battery the handset will shut off and disconnect the call. You likely need a new battery.

Turn off internal speakers in LG 55LM8650

Some models do not have a feature to turn off the internal speakers. If it is not in the menu, then this is not available for you, only other option is to turn the volume all the way down or physically disconnect them(not recommended if under warranty).

Refer to manufacturer technician locally. Suggest speaker replacement. Vacuums ruin speakers. !!Danger!! Do not blow or vacuum speakers. The cause is coil displacement possible electronic disconnection.

HELLO: KENWOOD MARINE STEREO WHEN TURNING UP THE VOLUME ABOUT HALF WAY THE RADIO CUTTS OUT TILL YOU TURN IT BACK DOWN THEN IT COMES BACK ON.

You have a grounded out speaker wire or blown speaker. Disconnect speaker wires at the unit. Make sure the wires are not touching, turn the unit on, then turn the volume back up. If it stays on, it is a wire or speaker. Re-connect one speaker at a time and test. once you find the bad wire/speaker, disconnect the wire at the speaker and test again. This will determine if it's the speaker or wire.

If after disconnecting the speaker wires it still cuts out, check your ground and meter the DC voltage at the power wire. If you do not have enough current at the radio, it will shut off as well. Usually this will happen at about 9.8v dc.

If you still need further help, post a reply/comment and I can help you dig further.

When i turn speaker on my phone ON, the phone dies afer 5 seconds ,and the call disconnects.after a while a phone is fine and works ok otherwise.only problem is with the speaker.

Sounds like maybe your speaker is shorting something out. I've seen this before with certain cell phones. Unfortunately other than taking the cell phone apart there is no other way to fix it. If you are comfortable taking the cell phone apart then do a visual inspection on all the wires/solder joints surrounding your speaker. If anything is loose.. it needs to be reconnected.

Good luck!

Aiwa receiver won't turn on

Hello:

This looks like its displaying the Time format. Try disconnecting all speaker one a time and turning on the unit to see if it turns off. Disconnect one speaker at a time and turn the unit on. If it turns off with only one speaker conn then this speaker is your problem. Amps will shut down if a speaker goes bad. Another thing to try is disconnecting all inputs and speakers from the unit and see if it stays on. Then reconnect them one at a time while watching what the unit does during power up. Also you might want to open the device and check for blown fuses. Check for any speaker terminal wires touching each other if so it will shut down thinking there is a short.

My Blackberry 8350i speaker is dead! Some times work, some times don´t. I update the sistem, change all configurations... But´s nothing work. Is this a hardware or software problem?

Sometimes (and maybe not with this phone) the physical connector to the speaker ( since the speaker is separate from the phone circuitry) can be disconnected. If the phone is not under warranty or you do not have protection insurance, you can carefully take the back case off and see if the speaker has actually become disconnected.
Its rarely software.

Radio plays for short time and shuts off ive tride every thing

The problem is most likely the amplifier circuit. It is probably over-heating and the speaker relay is turning off. it is not likely that it can be diagnosed properly on an online forum, since it takes some troubleshooting to be certain of it. Does this system have the amplifier built into the sub-woofer? If I had the model number I could probably give you much better advice, not all home theater systems have the exact same problems. Each different model of every brand have there own unique problems specific to that model number. There are some universal problems, but this is not one of those easy to figure out universal type of problems. I work at an authorized Samsung service center and have experience with repairing these type of systems, so if I were to get the model number I could offer you a better solution. But it is likely that it will need to be serviced to determain the exact problem. A couple of the Samsung home theater systems that have the amplifier in the sub-woofer must have the entire sub-woofer replaced because they do not offer the parts and service data needed to do a component level repair.

One way to determain if the sub-woofer has the amplifier built into it is if all the speaker wires for the sattelite speakers all connect to the sub-woofer.

Sometimes a bad speaker can cause the amp to get hot and shut down, you can check these very easy yourself.

First, while the system is turned off, disconnect one speaker. Any speaker is OK to start with. After one speaker is disconnected, turn on the system and play it at medium volume. If the system stays playing and doesn't turn off the speakers as it did before, the speaker that is disconnected is probably bad. Take it to a service center and get it checked to be certain. Most service centers will do this for free as a courtesy to their customers, it only takes a minute to check.

If the system turns off as it did with all speakers connected, you then need to reconnect that speaker and disconnect one of the other speakers and go thru the proccess again. Make sure to do all of the speaker connecting and disconnecting while the system is turned off.

If you end up disconnecting all the speakers one at a time and the system still shuts off, it could be that the sub-woofer speaker is bad or the amplifier is bad.

If you can give me the model number of your system, it would help.

Sx66 cant hear people and they cant hear me

i encountered this problem after i started using a bluetooth headset. when the headset is not in use (not turned on, not even with me), sometimes there is no sound from the speaker, and the other party cannot hear me. meanwhile, the call timer is clicking away indicating the call connected. it seemed there was some issue in the bluetooth stack, and the phone thought it should be communicating with the BT device rather than it's onboard speaker/mic. to resolve, i disconnect the call, go to the main screen; in the bottom right corner, use the bluetooth manager icon to turn BT On then Off again. this resets the phone's speaker/mic usage, and calls can be made like normal. i hope this helps you.
