Is there bar oil in the tank? Oil pump and/or pickup tube in oil tank are usual suspects.

Likely problem with oil pump or it's drive gear.

SOURCE: When I pull the trigger to accelerate my saw it

I think you have a cracked fuel line.
I'd also try a different mechanic.
I have very good luck with Stihl for my Husqvarna. HTH

1997 GMC Jimmy started spewing gas fumes into garage after fill up, keeps doing it until it gets down to 1/2 tank of gas?

check for a leak in the gas tank above the 1/2 level it could have a pin hole. it could also be a bad vent valve on the tank or in the EVAP system that needs to be checked out.

On my homelite leaf blower, gas is leaking out at the cap when i hold the blower pointing down...there appears to be a breather hole in the middle of the cap where the leak is occuring...should that hole...

No, the hole shold be open. There is a check valve in the cap which, when working properly, allows the tank to vent (lets air in so fuel will flow to the carburetor) but prevents fuel from pouring out. I'd first give the cap a good cleaning to see if that stops the leak. If not, you'll need a replacement.

More info, let me know.

I have a homelite xl, UT# 10655- the chain oil seems to be leaking and coming out of the exhaust and continues to leak after shutting off the chainsaw. Any ideas on the possible cause?

Your saw is listed as an "XL Chain Saw UT-10655" here:
Homelite/Ryobi.com (authorized parts supplier)
https://www.gardnerinc.com/recons/disclaimer-lg.php - Agree; Choose “Product Line”; “Select OEM” & “Select Catalog” both to “Homelite Consumer Products”. A drop down list appears; self explanatory from here.
The numbers Homelite & Ryobi use do not match the numbers everyone posts. A careful inspection of your saw should find something that matches.
See the "Engine Internals" print. The oiler appears to above the clutch and driven by a pressurized tank. Venting the tank (opening the oil cap) may help help with weeping but only emptying the tank will stop it.

If no oil from engine oiler hole I suspect a failed hose or connection. Use the IPL to inspect and repair as needed.

Oil System Plugged.
  1. Remove the clutch cover, bar, and chain, clean the bar groove, any holes and passages on the rear of the bar (both sides, consider rotating the bar), if equipped with a sprocket nose ensure it rotates easily at least one complete revolution. Clean the saw oiler hole and channel. Insert a blunted, hooked piece of wire through the oil filler hole and pull the hose in the oil tank out. Pay attention to the screen or filter on the free end (clean or replace, difficult to determine serviceability). Start the saw and see if it oils when revved up (oozes down side of saw). If yes reassemble your saw. If no, continue with 2.
  2. Work your way through the linkage (use IPL to identify components and locations) cleaning and replacing any defective parts as you go. Carefully check the hoses for cracks especially at bends and connections. Please take extensive notes & some digital pictures will help during reassembly.
If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. Thank you for using FixYa and Good Luck. HTH

Car will not start after refilling the gas tank on a 2003 Hyundai

sounds like you have a bad vent on your gas tank
next time try leaving your gas cap off after you fill and try and start then
if this works just drill a vent hole in the gas cap
or change the tank vent filter
