First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Find how to recover deleted files from camera from
http://www.asoftech.com/recover/
Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

Possible to retrieve, yes. No matter you accidentally deleted files or formatted the digital device and lost data, Do not panic as you definitely have chance to get them back as long as you take the right option.

First things first - Stop using the device immediately! Then connect the device where your lost media files located to a PC which has installed Photo Recovery, a program which is able to recover pictures, videos and music files. Get the program here,
If you are running Windows, then try Photo Recovery.
For Macintosh users, try Photo Recovery for Mac.

But you should remember - the more you use your device before data recovery, the less likely you may be able to recover the media files back! So STOP using the device ASAP. Good luck and best regards!

You must try some data recovery software. try Kernel for FAT and NTFS i have personally used this software and it worked like a charm for me. It perfectly recovers data from deleted, formatted, and damaged partitions without errors. One more good thing about this software is you can try free demo version , using demo version you can preview the data recovered before actually buying the software. If you are satisfied with the data preview you can go for buying the software to recover your data.

Deleting or formatting won't make the data in your memory card erased permanently. These data are just not accessible at the short moment. If you deleted important data in your memory card, they are not deleted as a matter of fact just the index entry or FAT or NTFS marked the data as free space for new data to save. If you formatted the memory card, you simply rewrited or updated the FAT table or NTFS table which manage all the data storage process.

All in all you still have great chances to recover your lost data in the memory card. And the most effective way to do that is by relying on a Photo recovery program.

I accidentally erased some files on one folder, then recorded over them. Is it possible to recover them? How? Thank you.

You should connect your recorder to PC and then you can try to recover your files and folders with Easy Drive Data Recovery software:

http://www.munsoft.com/EasyDriveDataRecovery/

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.

Files deleted from Olympus WS-200S - Can i get them back???

Unfortunately this recorder model is designed with flash memory and once the files are erased they are gone. There are some companies that do specialize in flash memory recovery (Olympus is not one of them). You can go to google and search for flash memory recovery specialists. However this is a very costly process as it involves sending the device to these companies for them to do the recovery process.

Recovering deleted files from olympus VN-4100PC voice recorder

Chances are there to recover such kind of deleted files from your Olympus recorder.

First things first: DO NOT take any more videos or audio with the recorder that you want to recover files from in case you may quite possibly ruin your chances of voice memo file recovery.

Then connect your device to a PC, and have a try of Photo Recovery (also recover audio, voice memos, video files etc), a data recovery program which is good at recovering media files lost. If you are Mac OS X users, turn to Data Recovery for Mac.

Lastly, I hope you good luck. Again you should remember - the more you use your recorder, the less likely you may be able to recover the deleted files back! So STOP using the device ASAP.
