Once a message is deleted it can not be reversed, you can contact your cell phone service provider to confirm this is the case.

Hi, well usually whenever a txt message is deleted it is gone forever.

IF there has been NOTHING whatsoever done AFTER deletion, then maybe with un-deleting software if may be possible, although extremely unlikely, to recover some.. by hooking up, USB, to the phone, and mounting it as a "Drive" and then use Fat32 Un-delete software to attempt to recover data, theoretically it may work? It maybe worth a try?
You see the way in which a phone stores it's data isn't the same as say a PC, it has a very limited amount of memory, accordingly, this memory is usually overwritten by new data etc, almost straight away.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
If you were to take it to a professional data recovery service, and asked for a "Quote" as to costings, at least you would know where you stand.

Dial 611 from the cell phone to contact your provider's customer service line. Request to have your deleted SMS messages e-mailed or printed and mailed. If your provider won't offer deleted messages, navigate to a Web site that offers an SMS recovery tool -->navigate here .

I have a Motorola grasp prepaid phone through ntelos wireless and I need to undelete my text messages without a lot of pricey gear

The only way you can retrieve a deleted sms message is to get it off of your sim card, if you saved it there, otherwise there is no method of retrieval.

HOW DO I RETREVE DELETED TEXTS FROM MY SAMSUNG SGH-A877

You cant. Once a text message is deleted there is no way of getting if back unless you get the sender to resend and save it in a folder on your handset.

How to retreave messages from the phone

Instructions
    • Get a SIM card recovery kit. This includes software to read the data on the card, and a device that plugs into the USB port on your computer. Find these kits at your local cell phone or computer store, or online (see Resources for options).
    • 2 Insert the CD-ROM from the kit into the drive on your computer. Windows will ask if you wish to install the application and drivers. Click "Yes" and follow the instructions given to you on the screen.
    • 3 Turn your phone off and remove the battery. Remove the SIM card by lifting the metal gate up and sliding the white rectangular chip out of the slot.
    • 4 Insert the SIM card into the USB device and plug it into your computer's USB port.
    • 5 Go to the Start menu on your computer and open the application that you installed earlier. Go to "File" and "Download Text Messages." This will download any available text messages on the SIM card (both deleted and undeleted) to a window in the software. Note that a text message isn't deleted until the memory slot where it resides has been written over. Once it has been written over, nothing can retrieve it.
    • 6 Go to the window with the text messages and find the one that you wish to undelete. It will be marked in red. To undelete it, right-click on the file and select "Undelete," which will restore the message.

I deleted my text messages how can i retrieve them

Unfortunetly the way the G1 stores its messages, there is no way to undelete them. To prevent this in the future, use an app from the Android Market to peridotically backup your messages.

Saving text messages from v365

You can save the text messages into the computer using the software from Motorola.
Motorola Phone Tools allow you to transfer all the information between the cellphone and the computer.
You can get it from store.motorola.com
Also remmber that you are not gonna be able to save text messages or contacts information in a memory card.
The memory card allow you to transfer just Multimedia stuff as music pictures or videos.
Good luck
