I have an Area 51 with an Asus motherboard. I can't use ethernet for internet because it says Intel PRO 1000/ MT Network Connections network adapter doesn't have enough resources. It also says the miniport driver can't load. How can I fix this.

The best thing you can to for a computer like that is so go and spend $20.00 on a lan card for faster connection or you can reinstall the stock drivers for the onboard lan

Assuming that your Operating System is Windows XP I have given you the details to download the drivers. Visit the link: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-53178.html
Scroll down to Networking: Ethernet section
Intel PRO/1000 MT Mobile Connection adapter (10/100/1000 Ethernet) - Click on 8 Feb 2007 - Build 135400 In the next page click on 7ira09ww.exe and download
If your Network Adapter is Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection adapter (10/100 Ethernet) then click in the other link Build 94590 (Build 94590 supports models with Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection adapter (10/100 Ethernet) only. In the next page download 1urc13ww.exe

Where I can find the driver for IBM 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Low Profile PCI Express Adapter (53Y4005) Network Adapter ?

I just wondering because it should auto detect by your OS but anyway you can use Intel PRO 100/1000 network driver instead.

Do I need two wireless network adapters? I looked in the device manager folder in network adapters and there are 2... Intel (R) Pro/1000 PL Network Connection #2 and Intel (R) Pro/wireless 3945ABG...

You should have only 1 wireless adapter, the other 1 is the ethernet adapter. If you experience low signal strength even after updating the drivers, you need to customize wireless settings on the router.
You need to change the wireless mode to "802.11b and 802.11g" or "802.11g", whatever you have in your router. If this is the same with all wireless networks, wherever you go, then its an issue with the adapter, you should get a replacement.

Install ethernet card optiplex gx260

That slot is actuall not accessable externaly. The open bay is for the AGP slot right next to it. Directly to the left of that slot you have a riser board the provides 2 additional horzontally mounted pci slots. You'll have to use one of these.

Do I have an ethernet card?

Yes, Intel Pro/1000 is gigabit ethernet, which will do 100Mbps and 10Mbps too.
This will be compatable with your broadband requirements.

Network Card

Yes the network card is the same ethernet card. If your intel pro/100 is onboard try to re install the driver from the motherboard drvier. Check also in the manager device it the network device have a complex to the other device. Follow this, Click START then RUN type DEVMMGMT.MSC then enter check if the network adapter have a yellow question mark. If you found the network adapter right click and uninstall it.and click the ACTION and click SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES. After the installation finished try to connect to the internet. If still the same even you input the correct ip in the network configuration. Buy a new LAN card it's not expensive, because usually the onboard lan is easy to damage or not working properly you can installed and configured it but you cannot connect to the internet.
