Question about Briggs & Stratton Garden
The simplest solution is to purchase some good fuel system cleaner. I recommend Chem-Tool's Berryman B-12 (found at auto parts stores). Add about double the suggested rate to your fuel and use it. Double is about 2 ounces/gallon. Strong solvents in the solution will help clean the carburetor without disassembly and may cure the surging problem.
