Desktop looks like negative photo shot

Try that key combination and you will see it toggles you between positive and negative image. This can often trigger itself accidentally when the key command is similar to that in another program. I often find whenever anything visibly strange happens to my desktop, Universal Access is the first place to look.

Nobody is using your computer, so you don't have to worry about that. To change your computer back to normal hold down the Control, Option/Alt, Command, and "8" keys. This will change your desktop back to its normal state
