Question about Samsung (SP0411N) 40 GB Hard Drive
The drive sounds like it is failing. Noisy drives are a classic sign of impending failure. I would back up all of my critical files and replace the drive as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more damage can be done and you might not be able to recover files. Good luck
