OVEN BLACK-OUT! This oven has stopped working. The display is blank. When you press a button in beeps, but the oven does not work. To troubleshoot the problem we disconnected power for over 15 minutes and nothing was restored on the oven. There is power to the oven and the inside lights go on and off, but the oven won't operate. Thanks, T

    Here's the deal:
This is a fairly NEW (Jan 2004)Whirpool double oven (electric). The light comes on in the Upper Oven, but not for the lower Oven when the door is opened. However, when using the electronic keypad for the "light", both lights come. All other keypads do not work. All you hear are "beeps" when these are "pressed".

Circuit Breaker was checked again today. This time kept the power off for 20 minutes.

Another thing that you could check is the thermal fuse which will be inside the back panel, but since you have power, I don't believe the fuse is bad but strange things can happen

This means the controller thinks the oven is working but the microwave generator AND motors aren't being powered. Note that these symptoms are subtly different than just having no heat and eliminates the actual components of the microwave generator from suspicion in most cases.

When the timer counts down but nothing else works, 99% of the time the lower
door switch is bad or else the door is not closing fully and the latch hooks
are not depressing the upper and lower switches. There is also a slight
possibility that the relay or triac on the control board is not closing but
those usually do not result in these particular symptoms. Most of the
microswitches used in recent production microwaves are very poor quality
and the silicone lubrication used by some of the manufacturers migrates
into the switch contact area and makes the switch fail even faster than
    it should.

Electronic control panel went blank and oven is beeping

The first thing I would do, because it is an "electronic" control panel is to unplug your stove, wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Your Control panel may just need a reset and reboot.
If it is difficult to get to your plug-in, then go to your household breaker-panel box, and flip the switch for your stove to the off position for at least 30 seconds, then switch back to on. ...That's the same as uplugging and plugging back in at the wall.

Hope this helped hun ;-)

2. Or change power relay board (PRB).

Dislpay is blank but oven works

HI, you will need to replace this faulty ECC. the chip set that is soldered on this board is damaged as well as the led display. replacing the Electronic Clock Control will fix this issue.

the control board is fine and this explains why the oven is still functional. its the ECC that is faulty.

I have Fridigaire double oven part# PLEB27T8ACA with F8 code prob

wow, that is so weird...i was just getting ready to write the exact same thing. this last time mine beeped, i just kept letting it beep for several minutes. if kept on. i then went in and pressed all the buttons except for cancel and nothing happened. then i pressed the oven light button. the beeping stopped. not sure if it's coincidence or if that was what i was supposed to press. i will keep messing with the buttons and let you know if i figure it out. i will dread if it beeps all night long.

No display, No beeps, No heat

I was able to fix my problem by pushing the setup button and holding for about 10 sec.No where in the manual is this described. I call Jenn air and all they could suggest is that I checked the power supply!

Random beeps, oven almost starts itself

The touch pad may be defective. There is a membrane behind the buttons that will cause problems like that. The only cure is to replace the touch assy.
