Sounds like your coupler is going bad and you have dragging brake shoes (this is the squealing, not a pump),

is with the impeller or the chopper assembly that is causing this screeching
noise. You can take apart the bottom front access panel and clean the drain
pump assembly completely and check for any broken parts inside that need
replacement. If the problem returns then replacing the impeller/drain
pump-motor assembly is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have
