Hello,
The most common issue on these units is the float switch. This is the switch in the front corner, often it gets hung up causing this issue.

Sounds like cooling coils inside ref. that cools the water before the dispenser in the door.
These coils are in the back bottom of ref, behind crispers. They may be leaking.

Fuel/air ratio is correcting rich for an overly lean condition.
Possible Causes:
Fuel System---Exessive fuel presser, Leaking fuel injector(s), Leaking pressure regulator, Low fuel pressure or Contaminated injector(s).
Induction System--Air leaks after the MAF, Vacuum leaks, Restricted air inlet, PVC system, Fuel purge system or Improperly seated dip stick.
EGR--Leaking gasket, Stuck open EGR valve or Leaking diaphragm.
Base Engine--Oil overfill, Cam timing, Cylinder compression, Exhaust leaksbefore or near the HO2Ss.
CHECK AIR FILTER, AIR FILTER HOUSING FOR BLOCKAGE.
VERIFY INTEGRITY OF THE PCV SYSTEM.
CHECK FOR VACUUM LEAKS.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ??

Hi my Ariston Margherita LBE12X washing machine is not filling and just making a humming noise. we have checked the pipes and they are not leaking or kinked. Pls can you help?

Hello,
Have you checked the filter and drain pump for any blockages. If the pump cannot operate properly then it will not let more water into the machine. Also check the filters tn the ends of the hoses are not blocked.

Hope this helps.

Overfilling fault

I believe the washer has had a flood type situation.there is normally a flood switch in the very bottom of the dishwasher right at the very floor,if water get into the bottom tray it floats a piece polystyrene foam wich triggers a little micro switch wich will run the pump continually & show Overfilling fault at the same time..The water in the tray needs to be mopped out with a rag or spunge so that the styrene foam can drop back down. The blockage you had may have caused this flood situation some how.The overfill fault was probably due to the washer not pumping out,So that may be ok now that you have cleared the blockage.hope this helped.

No problem with wash and spin cycles but will not drain water after wash. Makes a ckicking noise when it should drain away

Hello,
It sounds very much like there is a blockage in the drain pump, when was the last time you checked the filter. It may be spinning ok but if the filter is blocked it may not be spinning fully or draining properly. There is also a good chance that the sump pipe and drain pipes are choked with sludge /limescale.Try the filter check first if no Joy then it will need investigating down by the pump.
Hope this is of some help.

Good Luck.

E20 fault display

Hello,
E20 is a fault either in the filter/pump or drain.
The water must be drained thru. the little hose by filter or get machine to back door and undo filter plug and drain onto back step its quicker. With filter out see if any blockages, shine torch up in filter hole turn to spin/drain and see if pump blade spins if not then get long screwdriver and turn blade to free if no joy pump has to come out to free, hopefully this will work and refit plug and check for leaks. Then try again.

Good luck.

Hi my ariston a1636 doesnt seem to pump water out it is now full to the brim and wont open the last two or three washes water came seeping out the draw is there a blockage in my pump

Could be but think more of an overfill fault cased by a blockage @ the pressure switch this controls the level of water in the drum shutting off fill valves. The pressure switch or air switch operates at 3 psi it is round with wiring onto it and has a tube connected to it ....make sure the Tube and chamber tat feeds this is clear as this is common to fail the valve and result in overfill,Apart from a faulty fill valve of course, this should cut off when power is removed.....good luck

While washing water is leaking out of the soap drawer out of our 1st Addition Washer/Dryer Please help

Probably a soap blockage in dispenser, or washer is overfilling, or the drum is turning too fast on wash.
Check the dispenser to make sure it is clear of powder.
The drum should turn fairly slowly, or other wise it will throw water up to the diepemser if it is turning too fast.

Leaking machine

Could be caused by several reasons.
1- Overfilling, check water level .
2-Blockage in dispenser, or dispenser inlet hose to drum
3-Drawer not in properly.
4-M/c not draining properly, thus when it goes into spin, water could be thrown up by centrifugal force, and come out of the front of the drawer.Check filter.
5-Water pressure very high, forcing water out of drawer, adjust pressure.
Plz rate my soution.
Thanks.
