Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
This sounds like a malfunctioning water control valve- the hot water one, if the washer is hot and cold fill, and the cold one if it is just cold fill!
Sorry but it needs replacing and a service call to confirm that it is not something else ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

Kenmore washer model #110.28882790 is very slow to fill with water. We've checked and cleaned the hose filters. Is there some kind of water sensor? Or hidden filters?

Remove the water line from the INLET valve and start the machine , if there is no proper flow of water then the inlet vavle is not working to open , the filter on the vavle is clogged or the inlet filter is blocked. Also check the voltage on the inlet valve to make sure that the controller unit is outputting correct voltage.
If not replace filter , valve to ensure that the drum get best flow for filling.

Wasing machine fills with water during washing and wont pump out filling the drum...

1. Empty the drum via the filter / trap at the front (there is sometimes a drain pipe near the filter - otherwise be prepared to use lots of towels to soak up the water).
2. Check / clean the filter.
3. Ensure that the drainage pipe is not blocked.
4. Check that the pipe from the pump to the waste water pipe is not kinked / blocked.
5. Check that the pipe from the drum to the pump is not blocked.
6. Does the pump sound like it's trying to work? If not, it could be that the pump is dead. Pumps can often become blocked with fluff / slime from the machine.

Good luck!

My washing machine is not filling up and not spinning?

Hello,
It sounds as if there may be a blockage in the filter, check the filter but remember that it could still have water in the drum from the last wash.

Water all over floor. Replaced broken door latch. Still leaking. removed front bottom panel. it looks like water is coming from the drum???

it sounds like a door seal problem ,its normal when wter is comming from drum most front loader fill by spraying water on drum, you may also want to check drain hose it could be kinked or pluged up,se what this does and clean filter if you can get to it.
