Go into the menu, setup menue, hit the reset. This will clear everything that has been set in the menues. If the focus still doesn't work than it is the cameras

Technical Support from Canon sent me shipping and handling in order for me to send my camera in for service. The problem I'm experiencing with my camera is happening "all over the place". This type of problem caused a recall by Canon. The problem with my camera will be corrected by Canon "free of charge" and shipped back to me.
