Remove the bottom strainers plates and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the outlet pipe and the pump or the selector valve. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.

Hi there Washing Machine model: WFA0877A My wash cycle was abruptly ended and all three indicator lights are switched on. How do I resolve this?

send your email get the user manual
all three lights on is blocked up drain
the pump not rotating {check for wires and coins}

i would empty the machine fully at the drain cycle and also at the pump filter
till its all empty
switch off and remove the water pipes and the mains plug
then pull out and lay the machine over on the side
opposite the soap drawer

then underneath you will see the pipe that goes from the drum
to the pump
take it off both ends and check its totally clear and any trap {a ball and also sometimes in a cage}
shine a light inside the drums and look around for socks or tights or plastic etc {have kids check for lego plastic toys etc etc }
clothing wires in the pump end

and check the drain
make sure the drain at the waste end is clean and flows well at the sink etc...

put it all back together
and try to hold in the program select or start stop button for a few seconds when you apply mains

then this resets the fault it detected

it should work aok
if not what part of the cycle did or does it stop at???
this will give more info that the three stuck lights

i can see the manual online for it
perhaps it has some details

Doesn't fully drain after cycle completed. How do I fix it?

most likely you have a lot of debris in the pump housing. you can remove the lower arm and then the cover from the top of the pump. clean out all the debris. and try again. if it does not drain replace the drain pump.

Have a look for coins etc stuck in the drain pump or the tub outlet hoses especially where they fit onto the tub. If a coin or other foreign material blocks the water flow when draining , these machines wont spin properly.

Hi our Bosch exxcel washing machine has stopped spinning and doesn't reach the end of its cycle most of the time. If it does the washing is still soaking and needs a new rinse and spin cycle after....

Hi gillsteer,

I believe your drain pump filter is just clogged. The drain pump is trying to pump the water out before the Spin cycle, but can't. Usually this is caused by a foreign object that is obstructing the impeller. See my tip on how to access, drain & clean the Drain Pump Filter:

After this, the Spin cycle will run, after the drainage procedure. If it does not, then you may need to replace the Drain Motor. Which is a easy task.

Kind Regards :-)

Model KTRS22MJB water from freezer flows to refrigerater, and settles at bottom under the produce drawers. Have had some one come out 'repair' several times before. They used an auger type tool? I should...

HI, I have seen this a lot in my 13 years of maintenance work, the problem is the drian line freezes up and when the frig goes into defrost cycle the water has no place to go so it leakes into frig. He is using the auger to clean ice out of drain line. After you clean out we would use a heavy guage copper wire and wrap around heating coil and put other end down into drain tube so when defrost cycle kicks on it will heat wire and drain tube will not freeze up,this would solve the problem and would never get a nother work order agian. Hope this helps.

I have a model # gsd2030f01ww with a serial# of ga823350b. The problem is it will go through the cycles but when it goes to the final doesnt want to drain. What could be the problem?

I have the same model with the same problem.

I took the washer apart to find any obvious issues. The motor is functioning, the impeller is free from debris, the solenoid does engage and open flap to redirect water to the drain hose. I believe it drains part way through the wash but doesn't drain in the cycle just before the dry cycle.

Maytag dishwasher not draining fully

Try cleaning out the air gap.  The air gap is not part of the machine, and is located on your sink. If this becomes clogged, it may cause the machine to not drain properly.  Also, I know you said you checked the drain hose and cleaned as far as the filter and chopper blade, but have you checked the lower filter?  There is a filter located underneath the machine that should periodically be cleaned.  To check this, you need to access the machine from underneath by removing the bottom vanity cover. Hope that one of these helps!

LG WM1832CW water leaking

your valve is not closing or your cycle isn't reading correctly. there should have been a diagnostic read process that should have came with the machine. if not you may have to end up buying a new drian assembly
