Question about Computers & Internet
Roland has Parallel socket to connect to. My PC is laptop and so does not have parallel port, I must connect by USB. I have a USB to Parallel port cable to do this but it doesn't seem to work.
Maybe you did not install it properly.try this turn off your cutter. plug the cable to you pc. make sure your pc is on. then turn on your cutter. then windows vista will detect new hardware then continue installation make sure you point to the correct folder. then you will see in the taskbar that says installed new hardware and ready in use. please install also the software bundled with the cutter. or if it support corel draw you can start designing and make sure that you put an outline on the object. example letter "t" put an outline on letter "t" and try plotting it. maybe this will help.
