I have a problem with the X-axis scale on my Bridgport Milling Machine. The wires pulled out of the reader head of Mitutoyo AT-11 N Part number 935579. I have the X scale removed and the reader head apart. i have access to the cicuit board in the reader head, but I need a wiring diagram for the 5 wires hardwired to the cable. Wire colors red, yellow, green, orange, brown

SOURCE: Wiring on a RCA RJ-45 wall jack

the RJ45 wallplate is not meant for ethernet. It's an 8P8C connector for a phone. Will it work as a network jack? Maybe. I wouldn't use it, but if you really want to try, wire it thusly:

1 Blue --- Orange/White
2 Orange --- Orange
3 Black --- Green/White
4 Red --- Blue
5 Green --- Blue/White
6 Yellow --- Green
7 Brown --- Brown/White
8 White --- Brown

I'd still recommend a CAT5 wallplate with a CAT5 jack.

SOURCE: Ignition wire came lose inside my stihl 210c chainsaw .

28866.png This is the only diagram that is offered for this model but on the multifuntion switch (#33) The wire is layed through the upper part of it with the metal connector sticking out of the left side and once there you will pull the wire to the right until the metal connector is seated in the switch. After this reinstall the switch into the handle houseing and make sure that the contact spring (#24) is sitting on top of the switch and when in the off possition making contact with the metal conector of the wire on the switch.

assuming that u have electronics knowledge.so there r basic 4 pins are require to make ccfl circuit working. 1. power supply 10 to 18 depends upon circuit. 2. ground. 3. ccfl circuit on off. 4. bright ness.
to identify them. power supply wire is easily identified by checking voltage.
ground wire u may ceck by continuty from ground.
rest wire u may test by try basis one by one. there will not any fault for doing so.
i hope u can solve ur problem by this method.

Setting up your milling machine for use


Setting up and aligning your you machine and working-hold fixtures is one of the most important stages in getting ready to start milling. If the piece that you are milling isn't locked in properly the machine can ruin the piece or it could cause injury to the operator should it come free from the vise.

There are a few alignments that you will want to pay attention to and make sure that they are alighted properly. They are, table alignment, head alignment and vise fixture alignment.

The table alignment should be checked every time that the table is being returned to the 0* position. It is a good practice to not trust the graduation marks on the machine when you need to do accurate work. When ever you are working on a project that needs accurate angles.

What you are going to need is a rigid mounting dial indicator mounted on the table. It has to be mounted on the table because you are measuring the angle of the table in relation to the column of the milling machine. This will give you a much more accurate reading for the angle of the table.

On a vertical milling machine with either semi universal or universal heads should be checked before preforming a job that requires accurate alignments. To make sure that the alignment is correct you will need to follow a few steps. First you should clean the table and place a flat parrallel plate on it. Connect the dial indicator to the sprindle and feed the spindle down, with the dials lunger at the operator's right or left side until is ragisters to about 1/4 of the operating range, and get it to zero. Rotate the spindle carefullly one rotation on a universal type head the readings will vary on both of the axes. When you are adjusting the head on a universal milling machine you should adjust it one axis at a time to keep it aligned. When it is aligned make sure that you tighten all the locking bolts.

The last alignment that you should check before beginning your project is the vise and fixture alignment. This is the reference surface, where the piece you are going to be milling will be held. To align it attach the dial indicator to the arbor of a horizontal milling machine or placed in the collet of a vertical milling machine. To align the vise you will want to use the following procedure. Start by cleaning all the parts, making sure that there are no nicks on the surface. Clamp the vise in the what appears to be the correct position. Take the dial indicator and bring it into contact with the part that is going to be aligned. Slowly move with in the operating rance until its at zero. Cross slide the jaw to the full length and make note of the variation in the indicator reading using a soft hammer. When you see that the indicator shows no deviation, tighten the blots and recheck the indicator.

Once everything has been checked you should be all aligned and ready to go.

What is gang milling? Do I need a special milling machine?


Gang milling is the term used for using multiple milling cutters mounted all on the same arbor. If you have a horizontal miller then you shouldn't need to get an other one.

I have a mitutoyo dial depth gauge. How do I use and read this?


A dial depth gage should have a set of depth stems. they are in 1" increments. to change the stem, first using a scale, measure the depth of the hole you are checking. Find the stem that falls in that range. remove the cap on the top of the unit, pull the existing stem out and replace it with the stem you need to reach the bottom of the hole. replace the screw-on cap. Set the cross bar of the body on the face of the part. Gently turn the barrel until the stem touches the bottom. the barrel has a 1" range. The numbers represent .1". The lines between the numbers represent .025". One turn of the dial equals .025" Add the length of the stem, the number on the barrel, the number on the dial and the number diall. Example, If the hole measures between 3" and 4" i.e. (3-1/8")start by installing the 3 to 4" stem. Turn the barrel so it reads "0". place the cross bar of the body so it touches the face perpendicular to the hole. Gently turn the barrel of the unit until it stops at the bottom of the hole. Add 3" plus the number on the barrel (.1"), the number of graduations on the barrel, and the number on the dial (.023"). The reading is 3.123". If you know your decimal equivalents, you will know that the hole is .002" short of 3.125" (or 3-1/8" deep.

What is diffrent between lathe machin & cnc machin


A Lathe machine turns a piece to be worked on usually along its longest axis. An operator or machinist manually moves a cutter or other tool against the rotating piece to remove and/or polish the material to a more refined state. Instead of manually, a Lathe can be controlled by computer with the speed of rotation and positioning of the cutter or other tool being done according to a program or set of numeric data in which case the Lathe would then be a CNC machine. A CNC machine can refer to any computer controlled machine which uses a set of numeric data to determine its operation which can be cutting, drilling, milling, etc.

Dear Sir, We have one milling machine Monarch cartland Style D Size-3.15HP with Serial no#86501 VMC150 Axis 40 Tool we are require spindle taper?? So that we can order the tooling


The Monarch VMC150 uses a American Standard Steep Machine Taper, No.45
Commonly referred to as ASA 45.

The taper is 3-1/2 inches per foot.

Need a supplier for a drive belt for a bridgeport varidrive milling machine I cant seem to find a supplier or a part number anywhere


Take the old belt to a local power transmission dealer in your area. Those types of outlets offer various parts such as the various belts needed for industrial equipment. Even without a number on the old belt they should be able to type and cross it based on dimensions, angles and overal length.
