Try to check the Print Cartridges if they still have ink in them. or try to do a Semi-Full Reset. combo would be: - "print photo" + "red eye removal" buttons pressed together - printer will not ask you to enter the combo - release the buttons you pressed then - press "red eye", "print photo", "red eye" in sequence - scroll down or right until you find resets menu - press ok - scroll down or right until you find semi-full reset - press ok
- your printer should turn off, wait for 3 minutes before turning the printer back on

Each cartridge having printing life, as long as cartridge health condition is good it won't gives any trouble. Subjected series printer having mono & colour cartridges,1. Remove both cartridge from the printer 2. Switch on & wait till message appears for insert the cartridges..3. Insert mono(Black) cartridge, close the door & wait till message appears on screen. If message appears same as cartridge error mean that mono cartridge is faulty replace it, if message appears like insert another cartridge, it's confirmed that colour cartridge faulty.. Replace it..

Printer don't print documents. Status "PHD Life

Dear Diogo,

This error message occurs when the print head life is over. Every print head is designed with a specific life time (it is purely a mechanical device). Once the life time is over you will get this error message.

I recommend you to calibrate the print head, if you have that option in the software or front panel display(if any). Also, you can try using a new set of cartridges (if you printer is ink jet)

Thanks and regards,
Dr Tony.

I have an error message on the screen 'Print cartridge Refer to printer documentation' The printer wont let me do anything even if I turn it off and back on again. please can you help Lauren

Hi,

Have you installed new cartridges ?

Remove all the cartridges out
Clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges ( the golden contacts ) with a lint free cloth
If possible, clean the contacts inside the printer cartridges slot ( with cue tip or ear bud )
Reinstall the cartridges,

Let me know if this fix the issue. If it does not, mention the date on each cartridge when you reply.

Regards,
Ron

Place the old cartridge back and see the result. If the printer prompt cartridge error or low innk, then the issue is with your new cartridges. replace or claim warranty
