Here is a link to a website with operating instructions for a standard Hermle Quartz movement:

Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated.

Hopefully this is similar enough to the model you have to be of assistance.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the link, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

Where can I get information and pendulum for Ridgeway spring driven clock serial number 374221?

You need to determine what type of movement it is first. Ridgeway used movements from Hermle and other manufacturers. Once you have identified the movement we can sort out the pendulum. The following article will show you how to determine the pendulum length: How To Determine Clocks Pendulum Length

How do I get the moon cycle on the top to work?

The easiest way to set the moon dial is to find out when the last full moon was, then turn the moon dial by hand to where the moon is straight up under the 15, then move it clockwise on click per day since full moon. If the last full moon was last Fri., and today is the following Tues. then you would move it a click for sat., one for sun, one for mon. and one for Tues. If you try to turn the dial, and it resists, wait till a couple hours later. Hope this helps

How to adjust a Hermle grandfather clock?

you can try this although it may not work with your movement: set the clock at 9 and then move the hands forward past the 12 position. count the strikes. move the hands backward to the 9 position and then advance forward to the 12 position. count the strikes. did the strikes increase by one? if so, keep doing the same thing until your get 12 strikes when you are on the 12. then you can move forward and set the correct time and have the correct # of strikes.

How do i take picture of the moon

I assume you want a picture of the moon and don't particularly care what the sky looks like.
Consider a full moon. Just what are you taking a picture of? It's a landscape, right? Mountains, craters, etc. All under a bright midday sun without a cloud in the sky (the sky on the moon, not your sky). So what if the moon's a quarter of a million miles away from you, it's under the same sun. Yeah, it's a quarter of a million miles farther from the sun, but given the nearly one hundred million miles between the earth and the sun, the difference is negligible.
There's an old photography rule called the "Sunny-16 Rule." It says that the proper exposure under sunny conditions is f/16 at a shutter speed that is a reciprocal of the film's ISO rating. So, at ISO 200 the proper exposure would be f/16 at 1/200 second (or equivalent, such as f/11 at 1/400 second). You'll have to switch the camera to the Manual exposure mode to do this. Ignore anything the camera's light meter says.
Use this as a starting guideline. Take a picture and review it on the screen. Don't worry about the sky going pure black. You don't want the highlights to get blown out, or the moon will look like a white blob.

I tried the solution outlined above. I very carefully followed the instructions, but never saw the "sun moon" symbols when pressing "Program" over and over. Any thoughts?

Which timer do you have??

You posted under ST01C timer >> this timer does not have a sun-moon button...
The Utilitec 0192773 timer has a sun-moon button
However the Utilitec 014224 does NOT have a sun-moon button
There are a lot of timers on the market, and each has different instructions

The following page may help you identify your timer
The page has manuals for many of the timers shown

Answer this response, or re-post another question after you identify timer and get the correct manual
