It might need re-solding of the contacts, since it has small parts I suggest you get them repaired by an experience technician

HiCan you play songs ? If you can play songs then your earpiece is damage or short circuit and at the same time even if you play songs there is no sound then the problem comes from the Sound IC or its related components. So, if you can listen music just change the earpiece(the smaller speaker which is facing front side).Good luck

When i make a call they can hear me but i cant hear them...and when my phones rings or i when i try to play a song no sound is coming out

Hello,

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Take care.

Describe your how to repair spekerProblem

It's good that you want to learn, but I am afraid if you are not yet done any training course. It's not easy, only troubleshooting is tough.
There are two speakers, Ringer and the Speaker, if you can't hear songs, ringtones, etc.. it's the problem with the ringer and if you can't hear keypad tones and call (without activating the Loudspeaker), the the problem is with the speaker which is fitted in the front portion of the phone where your ear place during when making/receiving calls. Replacing the speaker which with the faulty will fix the problem.

If both aren't working, you need to check the Earpiece (headset) whether it's working or not. If it's working, then there must be circuit short or continuity problem inside the board which is needed to be service by experienced technicians.
In case, Earpiece is also not working, then it's most likely with the Sound IC, you can replace it but no one can guarantee whether it would be successful or not.
Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

There will be some feedback from the turntable, and this is totally normal. Ive actually heard the music from the needle itself, and is nothing to worry about

Nokia 6500i

There are a couple of causes:- 1, Faulty Earpiece speaker, change the earpiece... 2, Faulty Ribbon/Flex, it connects the phones main PCB to the screen, the top keypad the front camera and the earpiece, a kink or tear in this can cause any of those to malfunction. Change the ribbon/flex 3, If its only happening when a certain person calls you, the problem could be at their end and they're microphone might be faulty on their handset... 4, Less common but there are IC's that control the sound on the 6500 these could be faulty or have dry solder, these can be either reflowed or replaced.

I cant hear voice over the ear piece

you need to change the flat cable the one that goes to the screen because its the one that supplys voltage to the Earpiece .
Because of the sliding everytime it gets damaged or dropping down also does damage it

The earpiece is still fine .

No sound whatsoever on LG KG800 Chocolate Phone

easiest way to solve this problem. go to call settings and TTY mode. and switch it to TTY + talk ... if that doesnt work then fiddle around with the other TTY settings untill it does. this disables the earpiece
