I can give you an example: if you want 10% of 100 you go: 100 x 5% & your answer will be 5

is that not 10 not five? 1)% of 100. just wondering what buttons to push on the calculator. do i do 100 X 10% and that is my answer or do i have to push equals also?

Sorry, I messed that up somehow. I meant press 100 on your calculator, then the X button, then 10, then the %. you do not have to press equals. I hope this will clear it up for you.

### Casio fx-300 ES how do I use the significant figures

That is not something that can be done by calculator. Do all the operations to get a result. Look at the number of significant figures in each number in the chain of operations. Keep the least number of significant figures. The result of a calculation cannot be more precise than the least precise of its components.

Not directly. The calculator does not have the trig functions built in. You could do it the same way people did it before pocket calculators, but you can't do it just be pushing one or two keys on this calculator.

### I cant figure out what is the shift key on my calculator. I have a Sharp EL-531W. I tried the 2NDF key and its not coming out right.

Regardless, that is the markings on the SHIFT key on Sharp Calculators. The 2ndF key accesses the functions that are marked on the face of the calculator, not on the top of the keys.
