My charger for my computer had a shortage in it. As a result of this shortage, my laptop has been off for quite sometime (nearly over 6 months to be exact). Upon purchasing a new charger, I forgot my password for my computer. HELP!

Hi josh, do not know what you mean by "charger shortage", not a lot to go on...If you mean there is a electrical short then immediate advice is to replace & dispose of faulty equipment as charger cannot be repaired easily if at all.
Try and borrow a charger from someone and see if that works, or even use your charger on someone elses macbook. Then you can work out if it's the charger that's faulty which will mean buying a new one or if it's the laptop that's faulty. What you want to do if it's the latter is entirely up to you.
It depends on which model of Kyocera Printer you have. Please clarify. With most models it can be controlled from the front panel, by selecting the correct EXIT selection for FACE UP. When the clutch engages you will hear it change from the FACE DOWN (top) tray to the rear exit.
I would however suggest that you use a good quality brand of envelopes and DO NOT ATTEMPT to use envelopes with PEEL-n-STICK flaps as this can damage the drum, developer and fuser resulting in costly repairs and voiding any warranty that you might have.
Hope that this helps you out. I used to work as a Systems and Design Engineer for Kyocera-Mita America for nearly 6 years and have more than 15 years copier and printer experience, and know these machines quite well, inside and out.
Check you power settings. It is possible that it is set to shut down at 50% battery power.
If it is overheating, that too will cause a shutdown. What is happening at the time of shut down? Are the vents on the laptop being blocked in any way?
Hi, I had same problem with my Sattelite L300. Motherboard has a defect in one Proadlizer film capacitor exactly on the back of CPU, the original ref. is nec-tokin 0E907 (900uF/2.5V) or similar code. I've replaced it by 4 tantalum capacitores of 470uF/2.5V each and 2 capacitores of 220uF/2.5V, all in paralell mode in same old place of nec-tokin component. Vote for me... :)
Srivastav,What you have described indicates that the charger has gone. And unfortunately these things can not be repaired. In the past two months I have had to replace three chargers due to spikes or high voltage. Too bad.
So, please replace the charger and see your laptop running again. And use a good voltage stabilizer that has cuts high voltage.
there are a lot of cuase on auto shut off the laptops..
posseble if..
1. if the battery not inserted on laptop... it means you using the charger when you disconnect or loss the connection, auto shut off.
2.if the battery inserted and full of charge.. then make auto shuto off.. this problem,, sometime overheating,, A. fun not working properly..B. shortage of cheps.
try to check the charger and battery,,, use another charger to test observe atlest 30minuts.. the problem the sam auto shut off.. check the cpu fan.. or processor
note" if under warranty don't open it. bring to warranty..
