No worries. If you're using Windows you can control your mouse properties under:
Start, Settings, Control Panel, Mouse.
In this menu you'll see there are controls you can set for how fast the mouse points as well as clicks.
Good luck! William

Sticky mouse hesitant

I would say you might have a virus or infection. Also it might be time to replace the mouse.
Have you checked your mouse properties in the Control Panel? Click Start/Control Panel and look for mouse. Look thru the settings and set them to default.
You can always download and reinstall the drivers for the mouse.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Acer Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the drivers.
Have you tried booting up in Safe Mode to see if it behaves the same way?

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal.
If the mouse is ok in Safe Mode, then reboot again until you see Safe Mode but this time take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity). Open your internet browser and download and install MalwareBytes.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. Mouse not working

If you referring to an external usb based mouse...you try to use and the computer does not see it ...In this case your mouse need a driver .. for it ..or ..usually all mouse are installed automatically by the system ..all you have to do is insert the mouse and restart the laptop ..and make it work ..Try it ..and if the laptop will not install the driver for the mouse automatically ..Look in the device manager and see which driver is missing and may cause it ..
another way to install the mouse is to run the add new hardware wizard from control panel ..select already added if it does not find the device right the way ..and guide it for the mouse you already add..
if it is a usb mouse..try to use another port in case in this one is not seen ..Also you may take a look on the driver download and see if you installed all drivers ...you may need a usb driver for it ..
here is the support site link ..

Hello i just got a new comp. and i cannot get my canoscan lide 20 to install drivers

Download the correct drivers for your computer. Windows 7 I assume since it is a new computer. The drivers are located on the Canon support website: Canon Support
Save the file to your desktop. Right mouse click on the installer file and select "Run as administrator". This will give the installer the correct permissions to install the software correctly. Follow the instructions, do not plug in the scanner to the computer until you are prompted or the installation is complete. If it is already plugged in, unplug it and reboot before attempting installation.
Happy Scanning. Myridom
