Keyboards are so inexpensive that most folks just but another one. You can remove the caps and set them in an orderly fashion on a towel. Then you inspect and clean the switches underneath. Unfortunately, many keyboards are not made to come apart.

You want to enter an exponential of some sort. There is a key for that function. Look for the natural logarithm function whose key is marked [LN]. The exponential function key is accessed through [2nd] or [Shift] followed by [LN].

If exponent is negative, use the change sign key (-) or +/- to enter the negative sign, followed by the exponent.

See the screen capture that follows.

The common antilog is the shifted function of the common log key (marked LOG, just to the left of the 7 key). The natural antilog is the shifted function of the natural log key (marked LN, just to the left of the 4 key).

Look your calculator in the face. Find two keys one marked nPr, the other nCr. There is third key nearby with the exclamation mark (n! or x!)

If the markings nPr, nCr,n!**ARE ON THE KEYS,** you do not need to press [2nd F] or [SHIFT] to access the functions.

If the markings are on the face plate of calculator you must press [2nd F] or [SHIFT] then the appropriate key.

To calculate 10P3 you enter 10, press [nPr] or [SHIFT] (nPr), enter 3 and press [= or EXE]

The common antilog is marked 10-superscript-x and available as the shifted function of the log key. The natural antilog is marked e-superscript-x and available as the shifted function of the ln key.

The natural antilog is marked "e^x" and is the shifted function of the natural logarithm key marked "ln". The common antilog is marked "10^x" and is the shifted function of the common log key marked "log".

Do you mean the antilog? For the common antilog, use the shifted function of the LOG key (marked 10^x). For the natural antilog, use the shifted function of the LN key (marked e^x).

For example, to calculate the common antilog of 0.5, press . 5 SHIFT [10^x] = and get about 3.16. To calculate the natural antilog of 0.5, press . 5 SHIFT [e^x] = and get about 1.65.

I am not sure what you mean, because your question already shows what you have to do.

To use the functions marked on the body of the calculator you use either the SHIFT key for the ALPHA key.

If a key has next to it (on the body of the calculator) two markings, the one on the left is accessed with SHIFT, and the one on the right with ALPHA. Colors of commands on calculator body are coordinated with the colors of the Shift key and the ALPHA key.

The question I am asking is whether you know what [SHIFT][COS] means. You probably do, but just in case you do not (no reflexion on your abilities)

[SHIFT] [COS] gives access to the arc cosine function, [SHIFT][SIN] the arc sine function, and [SHIFT][TAN] the arctangent.
