Do you really? Since you didn't bother to tell us what make and model camera you have, I'm going to assume it uses a memory card of some type. If so, then consider NOT using a driver at all. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

PREVIOUSLY USED WINDOWS XP -NEW MOTHERBOARD IN MY COMPUTER- have INSTALLED WINDOWS 7- MY GENIUS COLORPAGE HR 3200 SCANNER NEEDS A COMPATIBLE DRIVER. CANNOT FIND FOR WIN 7

This is unfortunately a common issue with "older" devices with Windows 7 not supporting a compatible device driver:. Your best chance is to install Windows XP in a Virtual Machine under windows 7: the free ''VirtualBox'' virtual machine is what I personnaly use for my incompatible devices.
Hope it helps.

If the OEM is not making a driver then your probably out of luck. You may have to go back down to Win XP or sell or return the item. Not all manufactures have caught up with Win 7 drivers so you need to make sure there is a driver for the equipment you purchase.

My new computer is window 7 my printer is 4yrs older need to download to make it compatable with computer. Need help!

You will need to go the the printers manufacturers website (the main site).

There you will be able to navigate to the support section and locate the drivers for your printer.

The drivers are what is necessary for your printer to work with windows 7.

*Be advised that because Windows 7 is a newer Operating System, there may not be drivers available for it yet. You may need to purchase a new printer. The newer printers will come with a list of compatible Operating Systems on the box. Look for Win 7 and if you do not see it, it is not compatible.

Good luck

Printer will not operate on Windows 7 computer.Computer was upgraded from Vista to 7. Vista was completely removed before installing 7. Tried downloading new drivers, didnot work.

Possibly HP rare not supporting this printer in the new OS, although most Vista drivers are compatible with Windows 7, so have you tried installing the original drivers that came with the printer?

Also, Windows 7 has a driver "compatibility mode". Here is use of the mode explained on the Microsoft tech forum:

I couldn't find any drivers available for Windows 7. However, you may be able to run it in 'Compatibility Mode'

See: How to run in compatibility mode Windows 7
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

US-122 Windows Drivers: v. 3.40 Release Notes (download)
- v. 3.40 Windows Vista and XP Driver (download)
- v. 3.30 32 Bit Windows XP driver (download)
- v. 3.30 64 Bit Windows XP driver (download)

If this information was helpful, please give me a big thumbs-up when you rate my answer. Thanks!

Not compatible with new computer windows 7

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
(making a program work with windows 7)

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:)) julyallan01_52.jpg

I have the 615 and a new laptop with windows 7. The laptop receives a strong signal but says it cannot run d-link with windows 7

Hi i'm Rain.
Ok first you need to locate you D-Link Driver.
Then you need to check the compatibility.
Most things running Windows 7 are compatible to Windows Vista
Find the D-Link Icons right click and look for compatibilitiy.
Or click properties then look for compatibility.
Click compatiblity and select Run Compatible With: What ever your system was.
If you got it with windows 7 . You may have to try each Compatibility : 2000/XP/Vista . Until you pick the compatible configuration..
I had the same problem when i upgraded.
