Question about HP DesignJet 450c InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Please, let me know to resolve the problem on HPDesignJet 450C Printer as the following: 1. It tears up the paper from side of the cartridge while selfchecking for alignment after insertion of the roll-paper 2. Doesn't print complete drawing ( e.g., 24 x 36 size) and it doesn't cut the papaer after printing is done. 3. Is it necessary that 'cartridges' light should be ON at the front (while power is on), on this one is not ON ?

1. Is your roll loaded "upside down" ie feeding from the back. Secondally the small one way clutch may be slipping, this is a big problem and you need to have technical ability and the correct tools. Are you capable of stripping the machine with help? 2. This is carriage related. Is your belt OK. You need to look at the horizontal aluminium strip below the belt. Are there little pieces of reddish coloured bits lying around and is there a lot of blackish dust. If there is then you need a new belt and once again you need to be technically minded. 3. The cartridges light should be off. If it's on then it is indicating a problem with the cartridges.

Printer head going one side and given beep

IF the jammed paper tears and you cannot remove the paper either from the paper output slot or from the transport unit, or the jammed paper remains inside the machine, remove the paper following the procedure below. 1. Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. 2. Open the paper output cover. Remove the paper on the front tray if any.
Important:
Do not touch the clear film (A). If the paper or your hands touch these parts and blot or scratch them, the machine can be damaged.

3. Make sure that the FINE cartridge holder does not hang over the paper. If the FINE cartridge holder hangs over the paper, move the FINE cartridge holder to the right edge or the left edge whichever is easier to remove the paper. When you move the FINE cartridge holder, hold the FINE cartridge holder and slide it slowly to the right edge or the left edge.
4. Hold the jammed paper with your hands.
If the edge of paper is jammed near the paper output slot, pull the edge of paper to the position where you can hold it with your hands.
5. Pull the paper slowly not to tear it, then pull the paper out.

6. Make sure that all the jammed paper is removed. If the paper is torn, a piece of paper may remain inside the machine. Check the following and remove the piece of paper if it remains.
7. Close the paper output cover, then reload the paper.
All print jobs in the queue are canceled. Reprint if necessary.

Paper is stuck/jammed on the drum and I am having difficulty removing the d rum unit and toner

Hi lbestu,

Please Read Tip Carefully :-

Tip: To manually remove paper pull on the paper with both hands being careful not to tear the paper while pulling it. If you're unable to get to an edge of the paper that allows you to pull it you may need to manually rotate the gears that feed the paper through the printer.

1.Turn off the printer.
2.Inspect the location or tray the printed paper ejects to. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.
3.Remove all paper trays and any paper that may be stuck between the tray and the printer. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it.
4.Open the printer door that allows you access to the printer ink cartridges or toner and look for any stuck paper. If the stuck paper is visible manually remove it
5.Turn the printer back on. If you continue to receive a printer jam error try repeating the above steps again. If issue still persist and you see no paper that is stuck in the printer it's likely your printer is experiencing another hardware issues and we suggest contacting the printer manufacturer for additional assistance or repair

I have a paper jam i cannot find on a kyrocea fs-1300d any suggestions how to find and correct this problem?

Hi

1. Paper jammed can be found in the paper tray. Just remove all the paper and inspect paper jammed from the feeder roller.

2. Paper jammed can be found in the toner cartridge compartment. Remove the toner cartridge and inspect for paper jammed.

3. Paper jammed can also be found in the rear door of the printer (back door of the print). Check if there is a back door and inspect for a paper jammed into the roller.

4. Paper jammed can be found in the toner cartridge itself. Check for teared paper inside the toner cartridge.

Please let me know if you need more help

Paper Jam at the printer

please do the following sir: 1.Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
2.Turn off the printer.
3.Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
4.Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
5.If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
6.If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly (see A). The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
7.If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper (see B). Don't force anything, though.
8.Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
9.If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.

8.Close the top portion of the printer. Your new ink cartridges are installed, and your printer is ready to use.
