I have a summit spwd1470c and I have gotten the "ec4" error code. The issue started 2 nights ago i did a small load of laundry on standard setting and dried it and the clothes came out warm but still soggy, not saturated but wet. I put them in the dryer again for half hour and they still came out damp. I figured ok maybe it was just a very dense amount of clothing. I put in another load consisting of 2 tee shirts, and 2 long sleeve tee shirts and set it for a quick was and dry, again they came out damp. I put them in the dry for an hour and when i checked later the clothes were wetter than when they originally came out the first time. I tried running the machine empty and found that the glass is getting hot. i tried drying the clothes again and the error message "EC4" came on. I can feel that the dryer is making heat and the clothes do come out warm but damp. And the last load when i put it to dry the second time they went in damp and came out soggy. I have checked the lint trap and there is no lint in it at all, however every time I open the lint trap water spills out of it on the floor, like the water level is too high. I have checked and watched the water drain out of the drain tube when washing and when drying. How is my dryer causing things to get wetter?
