Logitech web cam not showing connected

The instructions made my web cam work again!

Check
1) If the webcam has a focus ring around the lens to sharpen the image
2) if your computer has the necessary powered USB ports for this model
3) Launch the logitech dashboard (toolbar) start the cam using the Quick Capture menu and adjust while running using the Settings Menu

1) try cleaning the lens with a damp cloth, 2) check if it has an adjustable focus ring on the front of the lens you can turn to improve focus, and 3) follow the tips in the article How To Improve Your Webcam Video Quality.

hi can you have a internet connection to your pc.


if yes download the driver from logitech site

otherwise go to your neariest cybercafe and goto the logitech site from there search your product down load the driver then install it

Take my word for it logitech is a little tricky to install sometimes.Try this uninstall.drivers.Reboot and go to logitech.com and install new drivers .Make sure they are the one's for your cam and os.install the drivers rReboot.. Try connect the webcam to your computer, it wll detect the device, note down the device name it display towards the right bottom of your screen.
Then with this device name, brows google and enter device name + 'driver' in the search field click the search button.
U will be provided with numerous sites where from u can down load the driver for ur device.
